At the tail end of a deployment I was erroneously accused of misconduct by a disgruntled subordinate outside my chain of command. I contacted Matthew Barry because I just did not trust the Army’s due process for accused Officers. Mr Barry immediately called me back and we discussed the nature of the ...accusations and investigation. Mr Barry was extremely professional during the consultation call. He did not oversell the situation or create a fear induced reaction to retain him as other military lawyers I contacted had attempted to do. I was going through the worse time of my life when I met Mr. Barry. I was had incident in the past that leave stigma on my record which the GOMOR that placed into my OMPF. I was sad, depressed, angry, and felt down. I have no where else to turn, with this stigma is with me I will never going to see... my next promotion and was looking at the possibility of losing everything I worked for.
