Emily helped me with my estate planning, and created a revocable trust for me. I had very specific requirements regarding how the trust should be handled to make sure the beneficiaries, who live in multiple countries, are taken care of. I participate in a Legal plan through my job and reached out to get assistance with a same sex parental rights/relinquishment of paternal rights situation. My wife to be and I had conceived a baby (about 34 weeks pregnant at the time of consulting with Emily) using known donor sperm and needed assist...ance with drawing up paperwork for the donor to sign over his parental rights. When I first spoke to Emily, she was upfront and honest and told me that she hadn't had a lot of experience with this specific situation. However, she explained that she is one of the best when it comes to research and that she would do some research and learn more about the process. Her confidence in her ability to become an expert in the matter by conducting her own research was enough to convince me that she was more than capable of helping us with our situation. A few days later, she reached back out and after asking more detailed questions about how our journey to getting pregnant went, she had drafted up a sample agreement for what we needed. She covered every aspect of our unique situation and even covered points that my wife to be and I hadn't even thought of. She made a could be complicated situation very easy for us and for that I am very appreciative. Not to mention that she participated in the MetLegal plan I am a part of so there was no extra out of pocket expense for me in this case.
