Great Lawyer and man

I would recommend Mr. Whittaker 100 percent. He was a wonderful lawyer that explained everything to me and was very patient and kind, . He help me with a Post Nuptial.

Experienced, Knowledgeable, Caring

Bill Whittaker represented me in a very painful separation agreement. He did everything he could all along the way, to ensure the outcome was as good as I could expect. He is so experienced, and understands the law and the court system, that I knew I was in excellent hands. I would recommend him t...o anyone needing legal counsel. I always had the sense that he was not wasting time or my money in the process. I felt he was honest and forthright about potential expectations. I would also like to say that he has a very kind, helpful, knowledgeable paralegal working with him, Cherie Carter. I feel they make a great team.

An Excellent Attorney ...

I am a client of Bill’s and I have been very pleased with the results he has obtained for me over the years. In addition, others I referred to Bill later told me they were extremely pleased with his handling of their cases. I find Bill to consistently be caring, thoughtful, creative, but realis...tic in his professional, legal assessment of a case and the likely outcome(s) should the matter be brought before a judge. I also find Bill to be extremely knowledgeable of the applicable law(s) and any relevant case(s). Where he had prior experience, Bill also appropriately considered opposing counsel’s typical approach as well as the judge’s past decisions on similar cases. I found Bill’s approach to preparing a client for testimony in court to be extremely effective. In my opinion, his knowledge of what exhibits should be presented and his attention to detail in preparing exhibits was a significant factor in winning favorable judgments. I thought he used the appropriate mix of exhibits he prepared, such as copies of relevant case law for the judge, and exhibits only a client could effectively prepare, such as a photo album showing parental interaction with a child over time in a complex, highly contested custody case for a client I referred to him. For the exhibits a client could / should prepare, Bill provided precise recommendations of what was needed and why, increasing the likelihood that the client would produce what Bill needed in court. In the one instance, when I referred a friend to Bill, but my friend wasn't following Bill’s advice, which was jeopardizing the outcome, I found Bill’s handling of the issue to be extremely professional and fair. Bill is more effective in using the services of his paralegal, Cherie Carter, than were most other attorneys who have represented me. This is an extremely important skill for an attorney who may be in court representing another client when you have an urgent matter requiring attention. Finally, I have always found Bill to be reasonable in his billing, not like attorneys I've seen go to court when the risk of losing outweighs any possible gain from winning.

Great For Difficult Child Custody Case

I travel for business and have a non-standard work schedule. My work schedules changes each month. Bill was able win 50-50 custody at my temporary parenting arrangement hearing! This allowed me to end up with 11 nights of custody a month. Bill is still my current attorney.

If you want the best lawyer, hire Bill Whittaker.

After going through 3 other lawyers for my divorce, I finally found a lawyer who listened to me and understood what was in the best interest of my children and fought hard to gain joint physical custody of my sons. I was completely satisfied with the manner in which Bill handled my case. Finding a ...divorce lawyer who will fight for you and your children is not easy. Most will tell you what to expect of the courts and that there is little you can do to change the outcomes but not bill. As long as you are up front and honest with Bill, he will fight hard to make your divorce as equitable as possible. My sons thanked me for fighting for 50/50 Joint Physical custody and I thank Bill for making it happen.
