Easy, excellent service for NC divorce

I hired Mr. Whittaker to assist in my divorce case. His process was simple and easy, from the initial virtual call to correspondence through email. Everything was taken care of and completed quickly - definitely recommend!

David B. Sherman Jr. is a gem

I hired David during a very tumultuous time when I had a lot of confusion and fear about what I was facing in family court. From day one, David was kind, thoughtful, and thorough in explaining my options and keeping me very aware of the costs I would be facing. He's been incredibly responsive and pro...fessional and a pillar of strength and calm in our hearings. He and I have a while to be working together, and I don't feel that I could be in more capable hands. He is hands down one of the most patient and empathetic attorneys I've encountered. He has an incredible skillset and mind for navigating complex legal sotiaonsnand then explaining them in simple terms instilling calm and trust.

Previous client

I wouldn't let him represent me if he paid me to be my attorney. He basically signed custody away to my abusive ex who beat my children all the while telling me I didn't have to be at hearings. He was more concerned about his golf games and money than representing his clients in any ethical manner.... Lacks major integrity and completely out of touch with human beings

Divorce Lawyer

My divorce was supposed to be clean and easy, over in a year and a half. Thank heaven for my attorney Bill Whittaker at Weaver Bennett and Bland because it turned out to be anything but! Bill stayed focused, he laid out all my options, and answered all of my "what if" scenarios. Any thing my ex- husb...and and his subsiquent three attornies threw at us, Bill got me involved, asked me my opinion, listened to my concerns, and answered my questions. Every decision was up to me, but I felt qualified to make it because I was made aware of the good, bad, and ugly that could happen. Bill is an attorney that stays the course, and doesn't try to force you to make decisions. He is honest (sometimes brutally) and tells you what he thinks will result from each decision you make. I would use him again in any capacity if I needed an attorney in his field.

Excellent Lawyer and Practice

I retained Bill Whitaker, of Weaver, Bennet and Bland, to handle my divorce, and have been completely satisfied. This was a very difficult and drawn out divorce, due to the other parties involved, but Bill dealt with all the problems and delays in a timely and efficient manner. Bill kept me informe...d at all times and pays great attention to detail. I have also used Weaver, Bennet and Bland for my estate planning and was also completely satisfied with their work in this area as well.
