Kathryn V. Bumgardner

It was a difficult time when I was forced to seek legal council to prepare and protect myself for a divorce after 30 yrs of marriage. After meeting and reviewing several attorney's I decided to hire Kathryn because she is refreshingly honest, fair, and offered her wisdom in a non aggressive approach.... She listened, presented solutions than proceeded in the manor we deemed appropriate. My situation took a great deal of patience because it was drawn out, but Kathryn hung in there till the very end, making sure I was protected even when at the last minute my husbands attorney tried to throw us a curve ball. She caught it and threw it right back, protecting my future.

Kathryn prepared and executed all documents for my separation and divorce. I found her to be detail oriented, personable and highly knowledgeable. She willingly worked with me and my (former) spouse during challenging negotiations even though she was not representing my former spouse. She was very un...derstanding and patient throughout the whole process. I was impressed with her demeanor and professionalism during our court appearance. Her vast experience in family matters becomes readily apparent when one sees her in action. There were a couple of areas in the settlement that I believe (in retrospect) could have been better stated with more specific conditions (i.e. if wife does A, husband is not responsible or is responsible for B) yet overall, I was highly pleased with Kathryn as my attorney.

I found Kathrn to be very understanding and empathetic. She was very helpful in being realistic with me concerning what i could expect. She dealt well with a somewhat unresponsive opposing attorney. She also arranged a mediation which turned out to be just what I needed. She handled my separation ...and subsequent divorce professionaly, thoroughly and in a timely manner. I would recommend her services to anyone.

A great lawyer! I would definitely recommend her. I have used Kathy on many occassions and will continue to go to her when I need a lawyer. She is a great person and makes you feel like she is part of the family not just your lawyer. She genuinely cares about each case and puts every effort possible ...to win. Its not just about the money to her, she wants to make sure the right thing is always done.
