Divorce Client
No one ever thinks they are going to have to get divorced or hire an attorney for it, but if you find yourself needing legal advice about divorce, separation, or child custody/support, I can't imagine anyone better than Amy Britt. I think what I liked the most was that she truly asked and wanted what was best for me and my kids - she wasn't just out for a win in court. She helped me mediate everything with minimal conflict, but she also stuck to her guns for things that were important to me and for my kids and fought tooth and nail for them. Divorce is an emotional process, and she understands that, too, and acknowledged and made room for the emotions that are necessarily part of the process. I 100% felt that she had my back, and it felt great to know that I could trust her to look out for my best interests legally. I was completely satisfied with the outcome of the divorce, the settlement, and custody. She is an outstanding lawyer who pays attention to details because she wants to make sure you are protected. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Amy Britt fought for my rights while keeping her ethics and not getting into the dirt.
She has helped me through the most difficult time of my life. My divorce proceedings were very complex and time consuming due to us having young children and my ex having mental health issues. We did not have everything go exactly the way we would have hoped, but I always appreciated Amy's dedication to make sure that I understood what was going on and why. She did not want to fight dirty, which I truly appreciated. I did not want to sink to the oppositions level. I truly miss our conversations and I am so happy that I was referred to her by a friend. Her loyalty and desire to help me get through this awful time was above and beyond her call of duty. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Amazing Lawyer!
Amy represented me in a case last year and I couldn’t have asked for better representation. Not only did she go above and beyond, but I truly felt she had my best interest at heart, and it showed. Her advice is excellent and I will continue to use Amy in the future if needed.

worth every penny!
Amy helped me with my separation agreement. She was very helpful in being strong, professional and shooting for the best possible outcome. In my conversations with her she was always very supportive and I always felt like she under promised but over delivered.

A very caring team
Divorce is never pretty. When I decided it was time to end my marriage, I didn’t take this decision lightly. I met with several attorneys in town but once I met Ms Britt and her team of Ms Parker and Ms Rehkamp, I never hesitated about moving forward with them. It was their professionalism, attention to detail and genuine concern for doing the best for me that won me over.

Amy
Hired Amy for separation and divorce agreement. She worked hard for me in order to receive more alimony and for a longer period than I expected. I’m on disability and unable to work without her help I don’t know where I’d be right now. She explain everything to me so I could understand.

Amy was the best. She negotiated a fair separation agreement between me and my ex. She was incredibly empathetic to where I was throughout the process but also professional, fierce and had an ability to keep me focused and on track for the long term.

THE BEST LAWYER EVER!!!
From the moment I met Amy I knew she was the one to get the job done. My only regret was not finding her sooner. I was coming to Amy from a pretty scary position. I had been receiving legal services elsewhere and things were not getting handled the way they should have, which only lead me down a road of less hope. She is absolutely the best!!! I cannot say enough good things about her. She totally calmed my shot nerves and put me at ease. She listened to me and valued what I had to say when others did not. Her colleague, Meredith Parker is just as awesome. I was treated as a friend rather than a number. She doesn't just do her job she exceeds it beyond measure. They are honest and will tell you the way it is, which I love. Amy started working on my case, she and Meredith had it wrapped up in no time. These ladies have a heart and were a breath of much needed fresh air in a time of darkness. My kids and I will forever be grateful. Without hesitation I would recommend Amy Britt over and over again.

Seperation and Mediation
Amy represented me during my seperation process and mediation. To say she works relentlessly to fight for her clients is an understatement. She gave me very sound legal advice, and kept me on track and positive during the hardest time of my life. I can’t say enough positive things about Amy Britt’s legal representation of my lawsuit and divorce.

Excellent!!!!!
Amy has been working on my custody, child support and other cases since 2013. I have and would suggest Amy to anyone who has dealings with a difficult situation. In every case she has worked on with me, I have been very pleased with the outcome. I feel safe and know that every thing Amy does is in my best interest. Her professionalism, attention to detail, organization, honesty, and preparation for my cases were excellent. She is confidant, professional and excellent in a court room. Other than her amazing attorney skills, she is also a very caring, kind, devoted and just compassionate person. Amy will never just tell me what I want to hear and has spent endless hours coaching and preparing me for trial. My confidence has risen because I know I am in good hands. No matter how big or small a case may be, she puts in 100% to achieve the best outcome for her clients. I could not have gotten through any of my custody, child support and other law suits with my ex without her. I have complete faith in trust in Amy to handle any case that comes my way with complete dedication.

My safety net
Amy is a lawyer you can trust. She helped me file for divorce as well as resolve child support issues. She was so intuitive and savvy that she was able to uncover information that was being hidden by my ex and ensure that I was paid back money that I was owed. Amy and her paralegal, Chloe, are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they communicate well and are very responsive. Her organization preparation gave me peace of mind and comfort knowing that she had everything under control. I have since referred her to family members who have had equally positive experiences and outcomes. I highly recommend Amy!!

Father's custody battle
I must start off with saying that Amy is THE sharpest knife, period. Sometimes fathers have an uphill climb when it comes to getting equal custody and legal rights to their children. After suffering through a year of an unfavorable temporary custody order, I hired Amy prior to the permanent hearing. She was so knowledgeable of the law and prepared to present our case in such a manner that the other party had no chance. We got everything we wanted, and more. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of our case. Hiring Amy was the best decision I have made throughout this entire ordeal. The support she has from her paralegal is top notch as well. Our exhibits and documentation were so well prepared that the defendant's attorney used our binder during their examination.

Divorce
Amy worked with me through a 5+ year complex divorce. My ex-husband lived in Canada and that required that she understand and prepare for both North Carolina and Canada. She is knowledgeable and thorough. Her advice was always on target and got the desired results. She did research when needed on both the legal aspects of the case and finding out the preferred format of presentation for specific judges. She is an outstanding litigator.
