I was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States with my family in 1995. As a former Public Defender in Wake County I have experience in defending persons accused of domestic violence, larcenies, drug posession, property crimes, DWI, driving after consuming, assaults, and traffic matters. I also practice Immigration law, focusing on visas, green cards, DACA, DREAM, removal proceedings and citizenship.
Yo nací en la Habana, Cuba, y vine a los Estados Unidos en el 1995 con mi familia. Antiguamente, trabajé como una abogada de oficio en el condado de Wake. Tengo experiencia defendiendo personas acusadas de violencia doméstica, cargos de drogas, robo, crímenes de propiedad, y multas de tráfico. Mi práctica de inmigración incluye casos de ciudadanía, naturalización, visas, residencia y tarjetas de residencia permanente, Acción Diferida para los Llegados en la Infancia (DACA) y Ley de Fomento para el Progreso, el Alivio y la Educación para Menores Extranjeros (DREAM).
