I highly recommend Collin Cook as a Raleigh attorney to use if you need a lawyer to help you with a NC speeding ticket. Not only were they quick to respond but they got my situation with the NC DMV handled within a week and gave me excellent legal advice. His paralegal, Lisa, was fantastic as well. She was willing to stay after work late just to make sure I got the paperwork I needed as quick as possible. They exceeded all my expectations and got me a better outcome than I had hoped for. I recommend them to anyone looking for a speeding ticket attorney.
Collin helped me with a suspended driving/speeding ticket. I walked away with only court fees to pay. From the start Collin was very professional and was very informative about NC driving rules. His price was fair and definitely worth It for the results.
Born in Greenville, North Carolina, Collin Cook grew up in Raleigh, where he attended Ravenscroft High School. He graduated from North Carolina State University in 2004 with a degree in history, and he began studying law at Wake Forest University in the fall of 2004.
During the summers of 2005 and 2006, between his academic years of study at Wake Forest Law School, Collin clerked for the criminal trial defense and appeals section of the firm. In that role, he engaged in factual and legal analysis in cases ranging from complex white collar matters to first-degree capital murder. He also consulted with experts and investigators in various fields and subject matters, helped prepare witness examinations and defense themes and theories for trial, and assisted in the courtroom during trials. He also assisted in the criminal appellate work performed by the section.
In 2007, after graduating from Wake Forest Law School, Collin remained at the firm as an attorney in the criminal trial defense and appeals section. His practice focuses on criminal trial defense and appeals in North Carolina’s state courts.
Business North Carolina named Collin as one of the state’s Legal Elite in criminal defense practice in 2011 2012, and 2013, a distinction bestowed on less than 3 percent of the state’s lawyers. In 2012 and 2013, Super Lawyers selected him as a Rising Star for his work representing individuals in the criminal justice system. In 2014, Collin was recognized by the National Advocacy for DUI Defense (NAFDD), as one of the top 100 DWI lawyers in North Carolina.

Case Dismissed!
I hired Collin after researching law firms. I received the best possible outcome for charges. I would say he was very professional and kept me over-informed. I highly recommend.

Cook is the best you can get.
Mr. Cook was recommended to me by another lawyer. He took care of everything for me. After all was said and done, I had the absolute best outcome possible, and he personally called to give me a thorough debrief. He reviewed my entire traffic history and gave me excellent guidance for the future. Above and beyond.

Outstanding Collin
Collin is an outstanding lawyer. My son, a college student, was charged with a felony that did not pass the sniff test. I live 1000 miles away from my son's University and did not know any lawyers in the area. Collin was thorough and professional as he stated the charges, possibilities and course of action he would take. In less than 4 days after retaining Collin he had the case dismissed and assisted my son in having the case also thrown out with University conduct. What a relief from 2 concerned parents who felt helpless. Collin never made a promise he couldn't keep but the outcome was spectacular. My wife and I fully endorse and highly recommend Collin and his team to represent any person. Thank you Collin and team.

He was very personable with me, and I could tell he was looking out for my best interest. He did a great job of letting me know things I could do to improve the outcome for my case.

A Very Professional DUI Attorney
Using his vast courtroom experience, Collin Cook had our case continued until we were in front of a Judge who is a strong believer in one's constitutional rights. Although I had been pulled-over leaving a tire store parking lot at 1:30 am, he did an excellent job painting a picture in everyone's mind that there was no probable cause for me to be stopped by the police. As a result, the Judge ruled all evidence gathered, after I was stopped by the police, to be suppressed. Acquitted!
Throughout our case, Collin Cook was friendly, responsive, and behaved as a gentleman.

Collin Cook was dishonest with me, refused to meet with me & insulted me.
Collin Cook represented me in a case where I was accused of purposefully writing a check off of my business account to purchase a computer. A handyman stole my business checks and I had no idea that the check wouldn't clear. Regardless, the authorized Apple Retailer (Ten Plus) tried to sell me a computer that they destroyed by taking the Lion OS to a Leopard OS. I returned the computer per the police officer's instruction. Then I was arrested! Collin promised me that this was not a "strict liability" crime and that the state of NC would have to prove I intentionally wrote a "bad check" with the goal of depriving Ten Plus Computers of a computer. Collin promised me I would not be arrested and the case would go away. He charged $2000 and then forced me to re-purchase the broken computer! I am 78 years old and have never been arrested. Collin treated me with such disrespect and hatred that I know am scared almost every day. Collin did not represent me. He literally threw me under the proverbial bus. He was not honest with me. He refused to put anything in writing and he refused to meet personally with me.
