I joined Edelstein & Payne in February, 2015. My practice includes criminal defense and traffic matters, personal injury, and wage claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act or the North Carolina Wage & Hour Act. I am committed to social justice and specifically enjoy drug cases and defending protesters.
I am admitted to practice in all North Carolina state courts, Washington state courts (inactive status), the Eastern District of North Carolina Federal Court, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Western District of Washington Federal Court.

I've had the pleasure of working with Sean on a few criminal matters and happily endorse his work. Sean is a dedicated and diligent lawyer who will throw his all into each case. He fights hard and does an excellent job in both pretrial motions and in trial. He knows how to communicate difficult concepts and cases to a jury in a ways that are easily understood. I imagine that skill transfers well to his civil practice as well.

I'm currently working with SEAN on a criminal case involving the same client. We both represent the client in our home states and have been getting excellent results in our respective courts. SEAN is smart, easy to work with and knows what he is doing. If he represents you in Washington state then you are in good hands.
