Dennis comes from a small town in upstate New York as the oldest son of a working class family. After serving on active duty in the United States Army as an infantry mortarman in the state of Washington and the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, he went on to attend Elmira College for his undergraduate work.

Growing up with the desire to someday becoming an attorney, Dennis decided while at Elmira College that his dream was not out of reach and upon completion of his undergraduate studies moved to Delaware to continue his pursuit of his dream. With the help of his wife and family Dennis attended Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware.

Dennis’ work experience includes working as a law clerk and later as a Real Estate Attorney for the Law Offices of Doroshow, Pasquale, Krawitz and Bhaya. National Title and Contract Manager for SpectraSite Communication and Contract Attorney for TowerCo and Wireless Facilities, Inc.

On the side he has a small sign company and is heavily involved in the local short track racing industry.

Most stress free filing bankruptcy could be
Dennis Sargent was amazing from the get go. He was patient with me, making sure I had all the details of my seperation agreement finalized before proceeding to file for bankruptcy. He was very prompt with responses and utilized a lot of online tools to help facilitate an easy process. Having to go through a divorce and file for bankruptcy was very hard, stressful and emotional but Mr. Sargent was very clear in explaining each step of the process and how to obtain all the documents and information he needed to best help me. He made me feel so at ease and confident that I was making the right decision in filing for bankruptcy. Top class gentleman and attorney . Highly recommend.

Excellent Attorney

Oustanding, personal service
My case required a good bit more than normal personal attention and he was there for me the entire way. Easy to work with, attentive, thorough, and just a great guy. I simply cannot recommend Dennis highly enough. He was fantastic!

Made a tough decision a smooth process
My wife and I chose Dennis based on his excellent client reviews, and we weren't disappointed! He personally met us for the first appointment and then every subsequent appointment thereafter. He was very professional and informative throughout the entire process. My wife and I were extremely anxious about filing but Dennis was very conscious of our concerns and walked us through the process and made it very manageable for us. Highly recommended!

Great experience
Needless to say that I felt super guilty about my debt and I was reluctant to file for bankruptcy until a couple of months ago. Having to go through bankruptcy for the first time can be bit scary and intimidating. Dennis’ communication was thorough; reiterating and keeping me abreast of the processes. During my first consultation, I didn’t have to wait long and he told me what to expect. Dennis was respectful, informative and professional. He took his time to explain the laws and let me know what my options were. Although not all of my debt was dischargeable, I do feel like a heavy load had been lifted off of me. I highly recommend Dennis to handle bankruptcy claims.

A a trusted Bankruptcy Attorney

Caring and compassionate relief
No one likes to claim bankruptcy. When I first met Dennis he spent time explaining in detail options outside of Bankruptcy and what options I did have if I chose to file. Throughout my experience with filing, Dennis was there every step of the way. He turned what would be considered one of the most difficult times in one's life into an enjoyable experience (as enjoyable as it can be). Without Dennis I think I'd still be underwater looking for a breath of air. Thanks to him, I can not only breathe but can see life without debt and it's truly a beautiful sight.

A true fresh start
Dennis is knowledgeable, patient, supportive and thorough. Filing for bankruptcy was a last choice for me, as I am sure it is for most people. I was nervous and embarrassed. Bankruptcy
As I was going through the bankruptcy process, Mr. Sargent was very knowledgable and compassionate with every step and provided me with the best service. I would recommend him to anyone thinking of filing bankruptcy. I have provided a friend with his name/number for her to contact him once she makes her decision. Straightforward and honest
From the first interview to the final outcome Dennis Sargent kept me informed of every step of the process. He is very knowledgeable and him and his staff worked hard putting together my case even when I did things that made him have to go back and correct some of the information. If you are going through bankruptcy Dennis Sargent is the lawyer you want on your side because he is always easy to get in touch with when you have questions or concerns and he will not hang up until you feel satisfied. So when it comes right down to it, if you are feeling that you are drowning under debt and bankruptcy is your only choice called Dennis Sargent and let him and his staff help you.

Awesome
It's not often you can say something nice about a lawyer but Dennis Sargent is "Awesome". He really demonstrates his compassion and how much he truly cares about his clients. I was getting advise from family members but it was all over the place and just wasn't helping me at all. Dennis helped me to reduce the stress in my life in regards to debt and whether or not filing for bankruptcy is the best think for me.

Very Professional
Dennis was an ultimate professional throughout the process. He guided me through my bankruptcy giving me professional advice so I could make an informed decision. During the process he was always organized and on top of every situation that arose. After my bankruptcy was complete he helped me contact all the major credit reporting agency to notify them that my bankruptcy was discharged. I would definitely recommend Dennis to anyone considering filing for bankruptcy.
