Nick Hobbs is a former prosecutor for the city of Newport News and a lifelong resident of Hampton. He has litigated numerous bench and jury trials in Criminal and Traffic Court and is extremely familiar with the burden the Commonwealth must prove against an individual charged with a criminal offense. In addition to his state criminal and traffic law background, Nick also practices extensivley in the United States District Court for the 4th Circuit and is an experienced federal criminal defense attorney.
After graduating from Bethel High School, Nick attended Virginia Tech and received his Bachelors of Arts from Old Dominion University in 2001. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate from Regent School of Law in 2005.
