Biography
I am a trial attorney who handles civil disputes, with an emphasis on plaintiff's personal injury, business litigation, and other civil matters. I regularly represent people injured in automobile collisions and other forms of negligence. Through my career, I have obtained favorable verdicts and settlements for seriously injured clients.
I also represent businesses and individuals in both state and federal court in a broad range of other civil matters. These cases often involve business disputes or lawsuits involving real estate. I have also tried to verdict cases involving contested wills and trusts.
I have obtained injunctions, won jury verdicts, and also have reached favorable settlements when it was in the client's best interests to simply settle the case. Prior to forming this law firm, I was a litigation partner with Jones, Blechman, Woltz & Kelly, P.C., also based in Newport News, Virginia.
