Outstanding Estate Law Attorney - The Best...

My wife and I recently turned to Trey Parker to assist us in restating our revocable living trust, which was long overdue for top to bottom updating. Our family profile and circumstances present the types of complex considerations that are undoubtedly common to many families, involving the lives of ...adult children, grandchildren, individual needs, special health concerns, education costs, etc., and all the various asset distribution options. This requires the highly skilled legal analysis, thoughtful insights, extensive experience, and deep understanding of estate and tax laws that Trey displayed and delivered every time we met or talked with him. His ability to immediately connect with us as clients, listen intently, and come to understand our family situation so that he could craft a trust that best meets our specific needs was remarkable. We have tremendous respect for Trey and deeply appreciate his skilled handling of our trust. My wife and I would urge anyone seeking top-tier legal assistance with their trust and estate planning to meet with Trey at his offices in Williamsburg. He is a credit to the legal profession.

Serendipity

My mother had a trust created at Trey Parker's law firm years ago, and modified a couple times, long before Mr. Parker joined the firm. I am her successor trustee. She asked me recently to review her trust document, because she is getting up in years, and she wanted me to be prepared. In reviewing it..., I noticed something that seemed to be at odds with how she had described the trust to me. I called the firm and spoke to one of the lawyers, who confirmed the trust was not set up the way my mother had thought it was. So my mother made an appointment to revise the trust. The next available lawyer happened to be Trey Parker, whom she had never met. My mother is in her 90's. She is frail. She walks with a walker. While her body may be failing her, her mind is sharp. She had lots of trepidations in meeting Trey. She thought he might judge her based of how she looks or walks or talks. She thought he might ignore her because of her age, and talk to me instead. Trey put her, and me, at ease from the get go. He was friendly and solicitous. He exhibited a good sense of humor. He made self-deprecating jokes. He was charming. He talked directly to her and made sure she understood the ramifications of the changes she wanted to make. Trey told my mother he would rewrite the whole trust and bring it up to the current standards of the firm. My mother expected the changes would cost a lot of money. Imagine her surprise when Trey told her that he would revise the trust for free, because her trust had not been set up the way she thought it had. My mother expected the revisions to take several weeks. We were both thrown for a loop when Trey told my mother that he would work nights so that she would have the revised trust in two days. Trey Parker turned a dreaded experience into an enjoyable one that wildly exceeded expectations. Thank you, Trey.
