Honest, responsive, actually cares

Basel handled a criminal matter as public defender. He was completely honest, treated me with responsiveness and genuine respect, not always the case with PDs office. Although unable to wrench a perfect outcome from this court with what he had to work with, he made diligent efforts, and was alwa...ys honest and communicative, and I nonetheless trust his knowledge, skills and compassion, dedication, and humanity. He will always be my only choice as attorney, should I ever need one. Too many lawyers made me feel an inch tall when talking to them; Basel seems not to have that in him; this is priceless when one is accused, frightened, unsure. His humanity serves him well and his clients reap it's benefits. Add this to his skills, diligence and knowledge; he is the best attorney I've spoken with.

DUI and Hit and runs

After making some very stupid decisions while under the influence, I managed to get my first DUI along with 3 other misdemeanor charges. Bassel took the mess I had made for myself and made it possible for me to maintain my normal day to day life. Always being just a call or text away, I genuinely app...reciated how reassuring he was throughout the entire process. Even though I am hoping to not need Bassel's help again too soon... I definitely recommend him and his team for anyone seeking legal advice or representation.

Expungment

I needed an exoungment for a new job opportunity. I had been told it would be a rather lengthy process. Attorney Khalaf went above and beyond getting it done alot sooner. Westendorf & Khalaf are great and affordable. Highly reccomend using them.

First Offense DUI

For the first time in my life I was in need of a criminal defense attorney for a first offense DUI. After spending the better part of a day searching for, and reading reviews of local attorneys, I decided to contact W&K law firm. Even though it was a Sunday, Bassel contacted me by phone within an h...our after I sent a request for quote. Throughout the whole process, he was very responsive to messages and was very thorough with his knowledge of the process and was always available to answer questions and put my mind at ease. I decided not to have him "fight" my case so I was convicted of the charge. I fully understood the likely outcome of accepting the "deal" offered by the prosecutor's office. I was able to retain my license on a restricted status. I certainly recommend W&K Law Firm.
