Reckless driving

I was charged with reckless driving 100/70. Mr. Douglas was able to reduce the charge to improper driving and avoid jail time. At first, I went to another attorney who almost screwed up my case. The attorney never told me what was going on and finally called to inform me that I might have to go to ja...il. I was so anxious because a misdemeanor would have a significant impact on my future career not to mention going to jail. Then I decided to get a second opinion, and I am glade I found Mr. Douglas. He called me personally to understand about my case. He is very responsive, always keep me updated on my case. He told me what I needed to do, I followed his advice, and the outcome is amazing. He would go above and beyond to make sure that he could get the best possible outcome for me, which he did. I am glade that I decided to hire him to represent me. He is awesome and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Look no Further!

When I got my speeding ticket in Bland, VA (83 in a 70) on a Saturday afternoon (my first day of vacation) I was freaking out, to say the least. I learned this charge was considered a misdemeanor and started frantically calling attorneys. Of course with it being over the weekend I was unsuccessful ...with talking to someone directly at that time. I had spoken to someone at the Price Benowitz office and was told someone would return my call. Then, Doug’s call came through Saturday evening. He left me a detailed message that calmed my nerves. I was shocked that he took the time to return my call on a weekend evening. We spoke a couple days later for more than 30 minutes. I never felt like he was rushing to get off the phone or had ulterior motives. He was compassionate, friendly, and knowledgeable. Even though I got a great feeling from him, I looked around a bit more to see what my other options were (which was a waste of time). I never got the same kind of feeling and communication as I did from Doug. He was persistent in getting me the best possible outcome and kept me up to date on my case. My charge was reduced to a non-moving violation and I am thrilled! I cannot thank Doug enough for his expertise and guidance throughout the process! If you are looking for a great, reasonably priced attorney, look no further!

Reckless in VA

I hired Doug because after 10+ calls to other VA attorneys - I noticed that he was the only one who spent the time to talk to you about the case without watching the clock. I hired Doug after consulting several attorneys after being given a reckless driving summons in Mecklenburg County, VA for doing 85 in a 70mph zone. Doug took a half hour to speak with me over the phone that day, gave me a realistic outlook on my case, and most importantly gave me peace of mind over ...the following months while waiting for my court date. He is extremely down to earth, realistic, and I genuinely enjoyed talking with him. Not once did he ever try to scare me with the worst possible outcome as is common practice with some VA lawyers that make a living off these cases exclusively. Most importantly, he delivered on his word and got my case reduced to a non-criminal equipment malfunction. Would recommend him 110%.

Reckless driving ticket

I just recently was traveling to virgina for a vacation and got a speeding ticket doing 88mph in a 70mph. When I got home and called the police department in virgina to see how I could pay my ticket the officer told me I couldn't pay the ticket I had to show up in court and I said ok. The officer adv...ised me to get a lawyer because I was getting charged for reckless driving which was a class 1 misdemeanor in virgina and i was possiblygoing to do jail time. I was nervous when he told me that so I got online and typed in good lawyers for reckless driving. Doug was the first contact that pulled up and i contacted him immediately. When we talked Doug explained to me everything and the rules in virgina and told me what I needed to have ( go to driving school, dmv record, accident report and dynometer testing) for my court date if I decide to hire him.. i was so please by just talking to him I went ahead and hired him, I got everything he asked for except for the dynometer testing. He assured me that everything was ok and he should be able to take care of it with what I gave him. I ended up with a non moving violation/ defective equipment and only had to pay a fine and court cost he did a awesome job and he is a great attorney. Thank you doug and I recommend him 100%
