Hello, I live in New York, I am Colombian, and on a trip to Texas while driving I was stopped in Smyth County by a police officer and that was when I hired the services of attorney Douglas McGee and he immediately helped me with my case, (Reduction of Smyth County Misdemeanor Reckless driving (101 mp...h in a 70 mph zone) to traffic ticket). Avoiding a possible jail sentence, reduced to improper driving, thus avoiding a misdemeanor conviction, double Virginia points and higher fines. Wreckless driving due to speed

Better result than even Doug thought could even be possible, but regardless, he never stopped trying to get the best possible outcome. Doug was very upfront and explained to me that it was very unlikely that the end result would not include jail time. He laid it all out that it was really up to me t...o make the most effort to help my case. At no point in time was he able to work something out with the cycling prosecutors to offer anything that did not include jail time. In the end, when the case was presented to the court, the prosecutor allowed Doug to plead my case, and refrained from making any sentencing recommendations. This was all due to Doug's persistance and tireless work to highlight my life as a whole, not just the infraction, and the ruling was not something, either of us thought possible, but I received a suspended sentence of up to 12mos in jail and up to 6mos loss of license, as long as there are no new citations for the next 12mos. It was made very clear to me, how fortunate I was, the opportunity I have been afforded, all due to Doug and his efforts. I cannot thank him enough, nor the gratitude I have for the prosecutor and the court for even considering the ruling that allows me to stay out of jail, which if I went to jail, would have resulted in the loss of my employment. Reckless Driving to Non-moving

I am incredibly grateful to Mr. Doug for the excellent job he did handling my reckless driving case in Bland, Virginia. He was able to reduce my charge from a Class 1 misdemeanor to a non-moving violation, which means no points on my license. As college student in Pittsburgh, I was especially relieve...d, as I wouldn't have been able to appear in court and would have been automatically found guilty otherwise - something that could've ruined my professional career.
