Wonderful Experience

I received a Reckless Driving ticket for 95 mph in a 70 mph zone. I received all of the MASS mail-outs from a variety of attorneys but upon researching local attorneys, I came across Mr. McGee. THANKFULLY! I reside in a different state, making a court appearance less than convenient. Mr. McGee is an ...excellent communicator who knows the area, prosecutors, and judges and was able to take care of everything remotely. The steps he told me to take, from community service, online driving courses, references, etc. proved Invaluable! What could have cost me a criminal record, jail time, ongoing fees and consequences…….ended up costing me some time, attorney’s fee, and court costs with NO residual complications. I am SO Thankful to have reached out to him. He is Great to talk to and genuinely cares about your personal situation. I would Highly recommend this attorney and look forward to meeting him one day when I travel back through that area. NOT your typical Attorney-Client experience. This gentleman is Well WORTH the fee he charges!

Professional, knowledgeable, honest

I hired Doug after I was pulled over when driving through VA at a high speed of 96 mph. This was an isolated incident as I do not usually speed. The Trooper wrote me a summons to appear in court a month later. I was terrified as that drive one way would have been a 5 hour drive! The Trooper was kind ...and told me to call the number on the summons to see if I had any options since I lived so far away. Instead, I got on Google and that is when I found Doug! Doug recommended online driving courses to get things start and try to get my reckless driving charge down to a minor ticket. Long story short, he did an awesome job and did just that! I was charged with improper driving, $500 fine and $79 court fees. Did not lose my license, no community service, etc. He was very helpful throughout the process and told me exactly what I needed to do to try and get the best possible outcome from this situation. Doug is very experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. He helped calm my anxiety of the situation within the first minute of our very first phone consultation. If you find yourself in a similar situation Doug is the lawyer you want representing you without a doubt!!!

Humanized the event leading to an severe infraction.

I was charged with reckless driving at an excessive speed. What Doug was able to do was to show that this momentary event was not a reflection of my driving history but a result of circumstances converging into a dilemma that resulted in an unintentional result. He showed that my character indicated ...a different individual from the one who was cited, guilty yes, but reckless no. I appreciated the fact that he kept me in the loop and advised me on solid steps to take to aid the Judge to seeing the whole picture and not just the immediate event. As a result of his diplomacy I am wiser and feel the outcome was just. The charge was reduced and I am grateful for his counsel and guidance.
