Went above and beyond what i expected, Ron tried to argue the case had no merit from the moment we began talking. He did give me the hard facts and push me toward doing things to benefit me case but i wouldnt expect anything less for someone fighting hard for you. Also got the judgement reduced by arguing with the judge and cut it down to a fraction of the cost.

Ron was referred to me by a friend when I got my first and only DUI. He was a calming force in a difficult time and helped to get my charges dropped and others reduced significantly. There couldn't have been a better outcome to my case and I owe it all to Mr. Smith. He is the man you want on your side. He has years of experience, is respected by officials and is extremely knowledgable. I'm so grateful to have been referred to him and can not recommend him high enough. If you need a lawyer don't even bother looking to anyone else!

Very impressive results, background and reputation. Our family consulted with three different attorneys and found Mr. Smith's firm to be the most experienced and competent. His in-depth knowledge of the law, defense work, and court proceedings, along with his ability to relate to his clients is truly amazing. Mr. Smith is caring, takes time to educate, explains next-steps, and prepares his clients in every aspect. His assistants Jackie & Zack are also very professional. I understand he also teaches a Law/Defense Course in Virginia. There is no substitute for his years of experience and professionalism. His fee was fair and very competitive. Hiring him was one of the best decisions we have ever made in our lives.

I endorse this lawyer, having had the pleasure of knowing him for nearly 15 years. Ron Smith is a courthouse legend. He knows that law better than most lawyers, and is a lifelong student of American jurisprudence. Ron is a rare lawyer who studies the law not only for his job, but also because he is personally interested in it and enjoys discussing it on the highest intellectual level. He has an unsurpassed amount of instutional knowledge (how the courthouse runs, special programs for clients, tendencies of judges and prosecutors, etc.). Ron is very direct- unlike some lesser lawyers, Ron's manner is not to coddle and fret about appeasing feelings. Instead, he honestly lays out pertinent facts, issues, and arguments. Because he tells people what they NEED to hear (not what they want to hear), and given his 30+ YEARS experience fighting in the courtroom for his clients, Ron Smith is an attorney I would recommend to anyone.
