I wanted to express my sincere appreciation to Mark for his representation of my son last year around this time. Our family was going through a very dark period in our life, and Mark was the beacon that lighted our way through the darkness. I found him to be sincere, compassionate, and honestly concerned to bring about the best result for my son. He listened attentively to all my concerns. He was there at all our court proceedings well prepared and ahead of time. When the case seemed difficult, he knew where to turn for assistance. I was dealing with this turmoil on my own, and Mark really made me feel like he was looking out for me and my son. He was very understanding of our circumstances, financial and otherwise. Words cannot express how grateful I am for Mark's help.

I was impressed with Mark Petrovich in the way he handled my legal situation and his extensive knowledge in the field, which benefited my legal circumstance to a positive conclusion.
Right from the start, Mr. Petrovich was extremely helpful and transparent in providing information throughout every step of the process. All contact and calls were handled professionally and quickly returned that developed trust and confidence in his legal awareness in handling my case. Mr. Petrovich asserts the insight and composure to bring about a satisfying outcome for the client. I highly recommend Mark Petrovich.
Also, Debbie was the extension for accommodating my circumstances and she demonstrated the sensitivity to all of my questions and issues. Thank you.

Mr. Petrovich handles high-profile criminal cases, so when I approached him on two separate occasions with moving traffic violations (one which resulted in a collision), you can imagine that I expected him to be uninterested in taking on the case; like asking an All-star player to hit a couple balls at little league practice. Mark has a clear passion to help people out of bad spots, and took the cases. Not only does he work diligently to resolve your legal issues, he also educates you throughout the process and remains flexible. He's quite open to strategy/ investigation suggestions and welcomed my creativity, despite me not being officially qualified to present any direction to an attorney. He helped me feel like a member of the team!
His office is cozy, and Debra at the front desk was always warm and respectful. You can tell their level of professionalism and drive to simply take care of business the moment you walk in. Mark is quite busy, so I am amazed with the level of communication he exercises consistently.
My first case was a couple years back, reckless driving offense (I was clocked at high speeds on 267). I never met Mark, and asked him to take on this case while I was traveling for work. He asked me what I realistically expected as an outcome, and I obnoxiously replied (without ill intent) "I expect you to make this go away". He laughed a little bit, but took on that challenge. He treated me with ultimate respect throughout the entire process, keeping me informed of his thought process and strategy, maintaining strong communication levels as I was traveling, and reduced it to: Failure to obey highway sign.
Recently I was involved in a car collision where I received a citation. This one, unlike the one above, was emotional for me because I committed no wrong and suffered injuries. My emotions clouded my judgment a bit, feeling like a victim I wanted to subpoena this and that to create this massive investigation so I had the strongest case to prove my innocence--I was pissed at the Fairfax County PD! Throughout the entire process Mark was a great listener and helped me maintain my composure. He developed a strategy that I would've never thought of on my own, and it resulted in a nolle prosequi. Having witnessed Mark's magic previously, I had 100% trust in him and his guidance. His strategy proved sound (there's always risk in legal proceedings) and once again I'm out of a jam.
In conclusion, Mark Petrovich is truly a professional expert and I keep his business card in my pocket at all times. I hope he and I never work together again, because that'll mean I'm staying out of trouble; in the rare event I do find myself caught between a rock and a hard place Mr. Petrovich will remain on speed dial.

Mark is a great litigator and a legal resource to many lawyers in Northern Virginia. Whether it is a serious state criminal charge or a complex federal case Mark has tremendous experience and insight to draw from, and which I have definitely benefited.

Mark has long been one of the most respected and admired attorneys in Northern Virginia - and for good reason. You will not find a smarter, more knowledgeable or more skillful lawyer anywhere. He puts a great deal of thought and preparation into each of his cases, and the results are there for all to see. Anyone hiring Mark for a state or federal criminal case will not be disappointed.
