Reckless Driving (92/55) Reduced

After getting charged with 92 in a 55 "reckless driving" I was completely overwhelmed by the potential consequences of the charge (criminal conviction, possible jail time, loss of license, hefty fines, etc) and also by how to find the right attorney for this case. Based on my experience, I can defini...tely say Garrett is the best choice for similar charges at the Fairfax County court. I chose Garrett based on his successful record with similar cases and felt I was in good hands from our first meeting. He spent an hour with me during the free consultation talking through the charge, potential outcomes, and what I could do to preemptively help my case. I had consulted with a few other lawyers at this point, and after talking with Garrett realized he had a deep understanding of what strategy to use with each judge and prosecutor at this court, and he talked me through potential strategies that I had not heard during my other consultations. Garrett was realistic with me about the potential outcomes listed above, but when it came to the day of my trial his aggressive and persistent negotiations resulted in the court reducing my Reckless Driving (92/55) charge to an Improper Driving conviction (even after the policeman told the prosecutor I was actually going 97). As a result, I avoided being convicted of a Criminal Misdemeanor, and instead got a simple traffic infraction. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome, and would choose Garrett to represent me again a million times over.

Great work

We had a serious vehicle accident which resulted in extensive injuries and what looked like a long term legal dispute. With Mr. Green on our side, we fought a good battle. He had several meetings with us, letting us know the pros and cons of the situation and how it can be tackled using a winning st...rategy. From 68/35 Reckless to Infraction

I was pulled over for going 68/35. The realization that this, in the beautiful state of Virginia, is not a mere speeding ticket but a Misdemeanor Class 1, criminal charge just started settling in... I called and consulted with no less than a dozen lawyers. Most of them were helpful in what the outcom...e could be: jail time, probation, driver license suspension, heavy fines etc. Mr. Green's consultation, however, made me feel that there could be a chance of a better outcome; one without a criminal charge. One's mileage may vary, but Mr. Green's representation yielded exactly that, a reduction of the charge to an infraction with a maximum fine of $250, and I am very thankful for his great work.

Misdemeanor Marijuana Possession

Fantastic consultation on short notice in which he laid out all the facts clearly and advised me on how to prepare for court. He was cool, calm, and collected on court day and made me feel at ease while he got the charge completely dismissed within 45 minutes of negotiation. Fairfax County DUI case dismissed

I was charged with DUI. My BAC was high, and the prosecutor was determined to have me convicted with maximum penalties. This would have been life-changing for me. Mr. Green gathered all the facts and evidence, analyzed the situation, researched the case law, and formulated a strategy to defend me.... We went to Court, and to trial. Mr. Green evaluated our position with respect to the assigned judge and prosecutor, and advised me how to proceed. At trial, he presented the case law which negated the charges against me, leading the judge, who is known for his propensity to convict, to throw out the case. It was a complete victory. Mr. Green met with me in his office. Once I committed to work with him, both he and his office staff made themselves available to me. I had his cell phone number, which I used, liberally, as I needed considerable hand-holding. Mr. Green made no assurances nor promises but laid out the facts as they were, dispassionately sizing up my situation. He was professional and a gentleman. I recommend him highly.
