AMAZING LAWYER ! Murder in the first degree & use of a firearm.

Late November in 2018, I was arrested in Prince William county and charged with 1st degree murder & use of a firearm in the commission of a murder & was facing 25 years to LIFE in prison. While Incarcerated I went though two different lawyers before I was given Mr. Thomas Walsh’s number from a friend of a friend after he handled her case and got her charges completely dismissed. After meeting with my parents than me he was hired. Mr. Walsh came by and interviewed me in jail and started his own investigation on my case. Mr. Walsh got down in the streets and tracked down witnesses along side his investigator and where able to find witnesses , address and homes of incidents correlating to my cases investigation , witnesses that police nor detectives on the case never interviewed or investigated !! Mr. Walsh worked day and night tirelessly while I was in jail incarcerated waiting for trial. After a year of being incarcerated Mr. Walsh got me bond when there was almost no chance of bond considering my murder charge. After staying on bond for two years Mr. Walsh was prepared to go to trial and was looking forward to the trial as he was well prepared and confident in my defense. The Prosecution knew Mr. Walsh knew the case better than anyone, including the police and detectives. The case was concluded to the prosecution amending and reducing my murder charge to a lesser charge and offered me a no contest plea and time served for which I served 1 year before bond. Tomas Walsh is an amazing lawyer! and everyone that works along side him, they treated my family with respect and love during and after the case. I Thank God and am Grateful for Tom & his Great Experience. I would recommend Tom and trust him with anyones legal needs any day!

2nd time DUI

Mr. Walsh took on a tough trial for a second time DUI for me and got it dropped. He did a great job listening to the details of my specific case and gathering all of the information/details needed. Despite it being what I thought as a very hard trial, he went above and beyond to get the charge dropped.

Knowledge and Experience to get the case dismissed

Mr. Walsh handled the case in a very timely and professional matter. I learned you need both knowledge of the legal system and vast experience to navigate any case. Mr. Walsh leveraged both when needed to bring about the best possible outcome. Very responsive when communication was needed to include holidays and weekends. Great lawyer

I was charged with a misdemeanor and was extremely nervous with what could potentially happen to me. Fortunately I had the privilege of contacting Tom Walsh and his paralegal Debra. Tom immediately impressed with his vast knowledge of the Fairfax County court system. He is a well respected attorney who works with the prosecution and judge to come to an equitable agreement. Outstanding Representation

Facing frightening, embarrassing, and unfamiliar legal options, attorney Thomas Walsh and his staff handled my criminal case objectively and professionally. As a working professional I had a lot on the line. Needless to say, any kind of charges or arrest records would have jeopardized my career. DUI

I couldn't have asked for a better lawyer. I had a high BAC yet he looked at every single detail and found everything possible to lower the charge. He let me know every step of the way where I stood and the outcomes possible. He ended up taking to the case to trial and got it dismissed! Best decision in my life to trust his judgement.

Great Outcome.

Tom Walsh is great! Now, I am biased because he got a good outcome, and no lawyer has “magic hands.” However, Tom is as close as it gets. He managed to step in and prevent having to go through the rigors of a trial. He is the type of attorney that other attorneys recommend. He was known by the prosecutor, having won against her in their prior trial, and the judge recognized him in the court. It was good knowing that experience and reputation were being leveraged against the charges. Overall, Tom possesses the proficiency, demeanor, and edge one would want if they had to argue their case before a judge or jury. Otherwise, he is great in making it not get to that point. Definitely recommended if you need a criminal attorney in Fairfax, Alexandria, or anywhere in Northern Virginia for that matter.

A trial Attorney who does not shy away from any challenge

Tom has represented our family in two cases; a personal injury case and traffic court. He clearly knows what he is doing. Helped Me Reduce SOR Requirements

If you have an issue as a sex offender, I recommend you call Tom Walsh. I was convicted of a sex offense that required annual registration as a nonviolent offender for 10 years. The offender law was changed ex post facto, years after my conviction and sentencing, arbitrarily requiring me to register every 90 days as a violent offender, and then again was changed requiring me to register for life without parole! I did so dutifully for years until I was referred to Mr. Walsh on a related issue. On our first meeting, I immediately realized he was experienced with offender law, and regarding my current and overall situation. He initially got me relief from a false registration violation, and then pressed on to petition the court to have my 90 day requirement reversed back to once a year registration. He is thorough and professional, and really put in the extra effort researching and moving the process through the court system. A court system that seemed unaware of how to deal with my petition! It seemed that he was opening the door for the first time in this legal area. I am very grateful that Mr. Walsh was so knowledgeable of the law, the court system, and so delectated to turning my circumstance around and relieving me from the enormous burden of every 90 day registration. He now hopes to one day end my having to register at all with the sex offender registry. I would—highly—recommend calling Tom Walsh if you find yourself in similar circumstances as mine.

Angel, Lifesaver!!!

I pray God to not be in that situation again! It was my first time in front of judge. I was slandered with heavy criminal case. Thanks God I found Mr. Walsh. He did incredible job and proofed that I am not guilty. Judge dismissed the case. He is honest and very professional lawyer. I know other lawyers who charge money and then does not accept calls. But Mr. Walsh is obselutely different!!! I definitely recommend!!!

Criminal Defense (Serious Felony Charges)

A compassionate and excellent lawyer

I was charged with a criminal offense and this was my first run in with the law. I dreaded the court date and felt so much anxiety leading up to it. An excellent attorney, would highly recommend.

When I was charged with a DUI and felony hit-and-run, Mr. Walsh was recommended by a family friend's civil attorney. Before meeting with him I had one of my friends check his reputation with the Fairfax County Clerk of Court, who was extremely complimentary. Mr. Walsh was everything one would want in an attorney. We immediately made a plan of action regarding my case, he kept me informed of developments and always responded to my calls within 24 hours of left messages. He was confident without over-promising, and his instincts on trial tactics proved accurate. I ended up with an outcome better than I had hoped for (indeed, better than he had told me to brace for) due to his work. As an attorney myself, I would strongly recommend Mr. Walsh to anyone needing a criminal or DUI attorney.

Distribution of Marijuana

I had two counts of distribution of marijuana that I was contending with which was my first criminal charge. Mr. Walsh was very helpful in every aspect of this case and he looked into every avenue of how to keep these charges from going on my record, which included an obscure court ruling that I personally never heard of. Not only is Mr. Walsh a very down to earth person to talk to but he is very affordable considering all the other lawyers I talked to. In the end he managed to get only one count and I was sentenced to the guidelines which was much better than the 5 years I had coming. Overall I would recommend Mr. Walsh to anyone facing a situation such as mine. Thank you again Mr.Walsh!
