I called Ed Tayter on a Saturday for a first-time DUI offense in PG County, MD. I hired Ed because I liked his style, and he is a family person like me. He even made accommodations to meet me on a Saturday. The main reason to hire Ed though, is because he primarily focuses on DUI cases. I was facing a DUI in Calvert County, and I needed Ed’s help. Ed’s level of communication... after I hired him was excellent, he responded to my phone calls and texts immediately every time. The day of court, I was pretty nervous, even though Ed already told me what the outcome was going to be. Ed had met previously with the state prosecutor, and they state agreed to Ed’s requests. There was no evidence from the DUI charge, and even though I didn’t do very well on the “walk test”, Ed was able to prove that it was primarily due to my broken foot and not because they assumed I had been drinking. The state amended the DUI charge, and charged me with a speeding ticket since I was initially pulled over for speeding. The speeding ticket resulted into a PBJ (unsupervised) with NO points, and a $200.00 court fine. I was quite relieved when the judge said that in court. I would most definitely recommend Ed Tayter as the best DUI attorney in Maryland. He was great!
