Whistle-blower FCA/SEC It's a "BIG" life choice to make & there are indeed factors to consider!

Tony actually took time to listen to me, he let me sell my case & when others in my industry, including GOV AGENCIES or IG GOV dismissed me! If you are reading this, I bet you are here because someone didn't listen to you or you were put in a similar situation. What's even worse, is when you start c...alling a few lawyers and they start dismissing you too. Some even talk down to you & simply because they specialize in law and not a trade that you may have more expertise than them. Let's face it, some lawyers are not so nice and dont like to engage something they may not understand, plus time is money like any business, that sure was not the case here. Tony never even heard of WB fraud in my isolated industry and because it was still kind of an unknown legal precedent & with no template. What impressed me was his own curiosity to learn and start trying to understand me and the sections of regulation that were entirely different than previously specialized in. That takes the ability to adapt & courage, however, also some moxy. Tony took the time to carefully explain details of such a seriousness life choice & I was soon about to make. Tony combed the CFR legal stars per se, further & with my own engagement, he explained the rules of law. The required aligned with, precise factors to even commence such an action are like a puzzle he masters & is an undertaking! Laws and regulations are not something you just want to go file some self completed TCR application online & without a lawyer & only come up empty. Tony examined information carefully & fastidious, to further navigate the State's laws versus Federal or possible combinations, a real strategic plan. Tony bounced ideas, making me feel part of the case, rather than just in the dark. He also has the ability to not sugar coat things and tell you NO or guide you from diverting down the improper path. Even in some cases reverse course on a NO & if you took the time to convince him why & which I found very liberating! The last is he takes the time to listen to you, not just before a case, however, during. I believe he becomes a friend & being supportive with a compassionate conscience. Cases like this are often under seal & very stressful being a secret, at least you can count on Tony for that emotional support you may need. I have found it invaluable over the years endured and more than some monetary assignment.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Tony and I worked together on a whistleblower case and I was blown away by his understanding of the strategy and procedure of false claims act cases (cases where the client uncovered fraud against the government). To this day, when I have a question about whistleblower law, Tony is one of the first, if not the first, people I call. I'm looking forward to working with him again."

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Tony Munter is a superior attorney and a smart, caring, honest man. I’ve asked Tony to work with my firm on qui tam and other issues in the employment arena. From the beginning, it was a pleasure to see how quickly he got up to speed on the facts. Tony’s ability to distill a mountain of jumbled information into a workable action plan is remarkable. Additionally, he has the ability to speak with others at the just the right level, be they judge, client, prospective client, co-counsel, colleague, or opposing counsel. Tony is a fine example of an attorney who truly puts the needs and best interests of the client ahead of his own. I’ve seen him carefully caution clients to forgo litigation – even litigation that is likely to be profitable for the client and for him – because there were important non-economic factors that overshadowed economic interests. I have tremendous respect for Tony and look forward to our next opportunity to work together. Marilynn Mika Spencer"
