As a honest person with integrity who worked hard through out life to have a good reputation and be reliable, when the police came at my door alleging that I was a criminal, yelling at the corridor to the point that neighbors would come to check what was going on, I was totally caught by surprise. It... was outrageous. I was shocked. First, because the police officer alleged that I stole my own medical file from the doctors office. I will refer her as Dr. F. My present physician, Dr. S. had requested Dr. F. for my files three times, Dr. F. fail to send Dr. S. In May 2019, I had signed and sent by Certified Mail, a release form of my files to me and Dr. F. did not send anything. Had she done her job properly this whole situation would not have happened. Finding myself in a situation that I had to seek a lawyer's help to clear my name, I had initially hired Mr. M. who instead of making me comfortable, made me more stressed and clearly he was charging a much higher price for something that could have been taken care easily, alleging and even inventing possible results. I am so impressed with how well Mr. Bennett handled both of my cases. One was a suspended license and the other was a DUI. He was prepared for both cases, he knew both judges, and both district Attorney's. He was very confident in handling the cases and he stayed by my side letting me know everything... that could happen good and bad. Mr. Bennett was very honest about what could happen to me both positive and negative however once he knew that both officers didnt show up he had me shocked and amazed when he told me that the cases were going to be dismissed. I retained Matthew for a fender bender with 3 points and a $130 fine based on online reviews. It helped that he is a couple of blocks for the District Court in Silver Spring. Matthew was extremely professional in gathering the details of the case and following up diligently. He got all the charges di...smissed. He is a bit on the high end for similar services but the extra money is definitely worth it. I did not even have to pay the $130 fine! He even advised that I don't need to attend the court session and he did it all himself. Highly recommend and would definitely use again (although it is best not to get into situations that need his services in the first place).
