After having done rigorous training in the US medical system for last 6 years years, finally I started a job. I was on J1 physician and got hardship waiver as I have a US born Child with cerebral palsy. Started my job with a major university as academic faculty. For my Job my employer filed for chang...e of status to H1 b from J1 AND it was approved by USCIS. I started my job after fellowship but within a month received a notice from USCIS to revoke my visa as it was wrongly approved. Cant even express in words that moment. I was shocked, shattered and terrified. My employer should not have filed COS. There were two mistakes 1. My employer filed for J to H COS after hardship waiver. 2. USCIS approved it as well. Now what?? I am stranded. MY EMPLOYER EXTREMELY UNFRIENDLY. DID NOT HELP ME OUT. I begged, pleaded to them for next four months to fix this issue but they had no clue and no desire to help me and my family. My repeated attempts to discuss the issue failed.
