My daughter did some research on the internet and that’s how I found Price Benowitz. I tried to call another attorney but I didn’t get a call back, but I was able to connect with Price Benowitz. I spoke to someone in Steve’s office, who not just talked to me about the case but was able to calm me d...own and touch base about other things to show me that everything would be ok. That guy put me in touch with Steve Duckett who called me by lunchtime. Steve was able to tell me that it was going to be a case that he had lots of experience in and he made me feel very confident that Steve would be able to handle the case. He was able to give me options, and gave me some guidance on what we could do about my case. One of the things that really stood out is that Steve almost immediately told me “I can tell from the tone of your voice that you are really concerned about this” I really appreciated that Steve not just focused on the legal aspect of my case, but also my personal needs. Steve took care of everything, and he gave me a few things to do to help my case, but was not mandatory. Steve was at court before me, and I had such big troubles finding parking and finally when I found Steve at Court took care of everything. The case was dropped, and I was just imposed a small fee of $50.00. I was really freaking out, but really the process was very easy and Steve really took care of me. I would really recommend Steve to any of my friends or family members. My husband and I just moved here and we had no one to help us, we are just are really happy to have found someone that took care of my case and spent the extra effort to take care my personal matters.

I knew that I wanted the best attorney possible so I gave him a call. I talked to the person who answered the phone and... he called me back fairly quickly. Steve really put me at ease and was very professional and gave me hope that my case could be resolved. I definitely knew that Steve was the lawyer for me. Steve was on point in court and had a great courtroom presence. Steve gave an argument that the judge had never heard of before and the judge was extremely impressed. Steve was awesome. When my daughter approached me regarding the reckless Driving Case I didn’t even think it was her fault but I knew it didn’t sound good. She got into an accident by trying to avoid an accident and she was then accused of speeding. The other driver admitted driving out in front of her. When the poli...ce officer arrived, he asked what happened, got into his vehicle and handed my daughter the summons for Speeding. I didn’t understand how he determined this without getting all the information. It was shocking to us to have the officer ask only one question of each of the people involved in the accident; namely, what happened? He never asked where the cars were and since they had been moved to allow traffic through, he could not have understood how this accident happened. He claimed that he could see skid marks on our gravel road. We had been waiting for the officer for about forty five minutes and probably about twenty cars passed us. The officer claimed later that he had “stepped out” the distance of the skid marks. We never saw him do that and he had no frame of reference that could have produced a beginning and ending mark. The ethics of the officer alarmed me as I had always believed that state police officers, particularly, were held to a very high standard. The charge seemed to us a casual afterthought rather than a thought out charge. I later went on the internet and looked up reckless driving on a Sunday morning and saw that it was more serious than expected. I found Price Benowitz, LLP and their office was the first one to call and connected me with Steve Duckett. I hired Steve Duckett and he did manage to get the charged dropped to improper driving and get it away from Reckless even though I still believe she wasn’t at fault and that the officer had no reason to charge her. Steve was fabulous and very professional, thorough, on time, and I would hire him again. We had to sit there for hours because the prosecutor was pushing back. You could tell he knew exactly what to expect and who we were dealing with and I’m glad he managed to get the result he did. We did not fully understand the courtroom lingo or even how the outcome was reached specifically but it was clear that Mr. Duckett understood and effectively controlled the courtroom outcome. I highly recommend him.
