Wesley Dean Merillat

Wesley Merillat has experience in handling complex litigation cases.  Wes is the lead attorney responsible for class actions and Multi-District Litigation in both Federal and state courts, primarily in the areas of pediatric litigation, pharmaceutical and product liability, ERISA, antitrust and general commercial disputes.

Although many of his cases have been successfully resolved without the need for a trial, Wes' experience also includes successful bench and jury trials, as well as mediation and arbitration. A true advocate for justice, Wes has been involved in litigation against some of the country's largest companies, including: Ford Motor Company; Johnson & Johnson; Bayer Corporation; AT&T; Sprint; Verizon; T-Mobile; Wal-Mart; Netflix; Merck & Co., Inc.; Baxter Pharmaceuticals and Small Smiles dental centers.

Wes was born in Morenci, Michigan and grew up in Fayette, Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University, studied at the University of Alcala de Henares in Spain and earned his Juris Doctorate with honors from Rutgers University. During law school, Wes also served as the executive editor of the law journal and was a member of Rutgers' moot court.
