November 2018 My name is Juan A. Marin. I am a Desert Shield/Desert Strom Veteran. My unit was deployed in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait for 7 months. I met Eric at a time when I was really having a hard time with my claim for disability from the VA. It had been 16 years since I filed the claim but no matter how much information I provided, I was turned down. I was at the point when I was ready to give up. My fight with the VA started long ago. I didn't know much and even worse couldn't get knowledgeable help in fact most of the help I got was ill informed or mundane at best.
