"I endorse this lawyer. David has a similar strong belief as I that the best way that spouses should divorce, if they are candiates, is through mediation or the collaborative divorce process. I would strongly recommend someone to see him in such family law instances."
"I endorse this lawyer. My experiences with Dave have not only included representing opposing parties, but also as a mediator. Dave's role as a mediator in two cases allowed him to demonstrate his extensive knowledge and sensible approach to resolving complex issues. "I endorse this lawyer. David and I were on opposites sides of a very difficult divorce case. We both tried out best to settle out of court, but ultimately had to try the case to conclusion. "I worked with David on "adversaries" on a case. Though the clients themselves were emotional and it was not an easy case, David acted with respect, honesty and courtesy throughout the entire process. We worked together to resolve the issues and it was a pleasure having an "adversary" that I now call a friend."
"I endorse this lawyer. David is a calm, practical and logical attorney. He is also an excellent mediator."

Admonition issued in NJ, 2007
updated on 11/07/2019An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“This minor sanction did not involve a Family Law case. In 1999--20 years ago and before my Firm began devoting its practice exclusively to Divorce and Family Law--I unwisely agreed to handle a neighbor's real estate closing. The closing went well, but the neighbor filed a Grievance six (6) years later because my secretary had failed to send her a copy of the Closing Statement. I rectified the oversight as soon as I learned about it.”
Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2003
updated on 11/07/2019This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“This minor sanction also occurred 16 years ago and also did not involve a Family Law case. It arose out of a small collection matter which I had agreed to handle for a former client before I began devoting my Firm's practice exclusively to Divorce and Family Law. The client and I disagreed about the merits of filing the lawsuit. Unfortunately, I did not document that disagreement in writing. Although I had done some work, I refunded the client's Retainer in full.”
