Works Wonders for His Clients
Kellen did a great job helping my wife and I design our will and estate planning documents. He asked the right questions and built our will to include a trust provision for our daughter if anything were to happen to us. He is always friendly and made us feel relaxed throughout this difficult topic.

Highly Recommended!
kellen was recommended to me by an attorney in Savannah. We are retired and have a disabled daughter we wanted to protect financially. Kellen took the time to talk to us and learn all about our family and the future needs of our daughter. Very personable and knew his stuff. With his help we restructured our wills, estate and set up a Supplemental Needs Trust for our daughter. The whole process was easy and reassuring with Kellen. Without hesitation I would go back to him if the need arises!

Kellen and all the paralegals were stellar!
I will be forever grateful that someone recommended the Berg Bryant Elder Law Group to me. They are the perfect trifecta: knowledgeable, kind, and effective. They guided me successfully through the overwhelming process of securing longterm care for my mother. They helped me to create the best outcome possible. I am more than satisfied; I am relieved. Highly Recommend
Seeing what happened to a relative needing a rehab facility made us realize we needed an elder law attorney's advice for our immediate family. Mr. Bryant handled our trust with the utmost professionalism. He carefully listened to our concerns and shared various ideas on handling the trust. He guided us in making the right decisions based on our specific situation. Mr. Bryant never rushed us in our meetings with him. He reviewed all the aspects of the trust and made sure we understood. We, also, want to commend his team from the receptionists to the paralegals. Their interactions with us were always courteous, respectful and professional. We are grateful to Mr. Bryant for the way he handled the whole process and thereby giving us peace of mind.

Worth every penny!
We hired Kellen’s firm to apply for Medicaid for Mom to receive long term care in a nursing home. We were given “ homework “ before our first meeting, which helped us to begin collecting the necessary paperwork. For example, we had to go the courthouse to obtain certified legal documents. When a loved one is slightly over the cap in income, qualifying for Medicaid can be daunting. Kellen’s firm saved us from completing the lengthy and tedious Medicaid form and from making costly mistakes in qualifying for this benefit. The first consultation with Kellen was eye-opening. He busted many Medicaid myths! I also watched the pertinent videos on the website. We should have come to him a couple of years ago when Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Kellen and his paralegal specialist, Christian, made the process understandable with handouts and flowcharts. They were familiar with the staff of the nursing home we selected, and kept us apprised of the application status. We highly recommend Kellen and his firm!

In spite of my wife's obvious health issues, Kellen Bryant showed remarkable patience in helping us through the planning process, and we now have set in place the end of life tools we needed.

Best Lawyer for Elder Law and Trusts
Kellen established a revocable trust for my parents and was very helpful when they passed away. I was so impressed by his knowledge of elder law and trusts that my husband and I hired him to established a revocable trust for us. When my husband passed away, I was able to go to Kellen to get new certification of the trust with me as the sole trustee. He advised me about certain issues and handled property concerns. Kellen made it so easy for me. I have recommended him to my sister for her own trust and to many of my friends. His office is inviting and the staff are cordial and helpful.

I'm very pleased to have this firm on our side as a family. Kellen Bryant & his staff held our hands, guided us & explained everything in lamen terms all the way through the process with much compensation & sympathy which was a pleasurable experience despite our loss of a loved one. We were ready for what might come up in getting our loved one well taken care of from short term to long term care.

Very good experience
My wife and I hired this law firm 25 years ago to help us navigate the Medicaid system for both her parents. They did an outstanding job. Fast forward to the year 2020 and I return to this same law firm for help, this time it's for my wife. I met with Mr. Kellen Bryant for a consultation of her case. I found Kellen to be a very well read lawyer in elder care, he impressed me with his empathy, his compassion, and his willingness to go the extra mile for his client. His staff are the best! They kept me informed of every detail of my wife's case. I could call them at anytime and they would always answer any questions I might have. They walked me through the various stages of her case. I can't express in words how much these young professionals made a very difficult situation for me bearable, with what I was going through emotionally. Kellen and his whole staff are the finest people you would ever want to help you with elder law issues. To me they are above all the rest, and I say this from experience.

Honest, informative service
Hired Kellen to draft my Final Will and Testament, this was a process that I was not familiar with and have never done before. Him and his firm thoroughly walked me through all documents, answered all my questions, and advised me on particular aspects specific to me and my current situation. Phenomenal service, highly recommend.

"Quite simply, they are the best."
The call my wife and I made to Kellen Bryant’s law office is one of best calls, given its results, we have ever made. My mother-in-law, near ninety, recently had a near death medical emergency—911, ER, Hospital, Rehab—that changed her life and ours suddenly, traumatically, and permanently. In a matter of weeks, with limited financial resources, she went from living independently in a small condo she owned to long-term care in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Kellen counseled us to apply for Medicaid, explained the process to us in fine detail, and with his paralegals, Julie Lastinger and Christian Clouser, guided us every step of the way. My mother-in-law is living now, and for as long as forever is, exactly where she should be living—with the skilled nursing care she requires and no money worries. We could not have hoped for more? Kellen, Julie, and Christian are deeply humane in their practice of the law as it has to do with elders. When, along the way, my wife and I “wobbled” under the weight and press of it all, they steadied us. We were, are, and will always be grateful to them. They gave us far more than our money’s worth. It is not sufficient to say, here, that Kellen, Julie, and Christian are “good at what they do.” Quite simply, they are the best. My wife and I are already referring our family and friends to Kellen’s firm, and we will be using them ourselves for all our future elder law needs.

So thankful for Kellen Bryant!
Kellen helped us during an incredibly challenging time. My elderly cousin failed to have her legal affairs in order. She was aware that one of her trustees had died and the other was dealing with dementia. Her trustee with dementia was also her power of attorney. She had been totally capable of meeting with her attorney and changing her power of attorney and trustee, told us she was doing it, and never took action. My cousin asked for help changing her power of attorney and trustee after an unexpected hospitalization. Unfortunately, her attorney was unavailable. Another attorney in the office was unwilling to make changes after talking with my cousin on the phone, in preparation for an in person meeting. My cousin didn't want to deal with the law firm with her own attorney being unavailable during this time. I was now searching for an elder care attorney. Kellen was several hours away from us, but came highly recommended. Every contact with the office was handled with sensitivity and professionalism. While I waited for our consultation appointment with Kellen, I was able to speak with the person who helps clients pursue Medicaid nursing home funding. My cousin had some assets, but with the cost of a nursing home, it wasn't going to last long. I received my "homework list" and got to work gathering the required documentation. Every effort I made to advocate for my cousin was met with a brick wall, as I wasn't her power of attorney. Her roof needed to be replaced as buyers couldn't obtain financing on a home with a 24 year old roof. I couldn't even get her home on a waiting list because the roofer couldn't obtain permits without a power of attorney. My cousin's power of attorney was insisting the house be sold "as is", as he was unable to understand the situation with financing. He was creating issues with the estate sale my cousin had indicated she wanted. He wanted the house sold with everything in it. No one would want to buy a home with all of the possessions of the previous owner. My brother-in-law and I were so relieved when we were able to talk with Kellen. We discussed my cousin having more and more confusion each day. There were times she was lucid and times she wasn't. We discussed options including changing my cousin's power of attorney and trustee if she was lucid when Kellen would meet with her, the process for applying for Medicaid nursing home funding, and guardianship if necessary to ensure that my cousin's needs were met. Kellen gave specific instructions for me to follow up on. He patiently answered our questions and clarified when I needed to hear information again. After two months of trying to advocate for my cousin, talking to Kellen was the first time I felt someone could guide us through the process to protect my cousin. Kellen listened to our concerns and communicated clearly what needed to happen. He also advised what the approximate cost would be. My cousin was hospitalized the evening that we consulted with Kellen, and passed within days. Our family received a very kind sympathy card from Kellen and others in the office. The stress during my cousin's decline was unbelievable. I was trying to advocate for my cousin while working full time and living 2.5 hours away. We don't have any other family in the state. I wish that we'd had Kellen and his law firm from the very beginning, as our experience would have been so different. I was very sad during this time that when I travelled each week to be with my cousin, my time was going to trying to deal with the mess of her legal affairs not being in order. I was able to spend time with my cousin, but not as much as I would have liked due to her legal mess. The day we met with Kellen was the first time I felt I could take a deep breath in two months. If you are dealing with advocating for an elderly loved one, Kellen would be a great attorney for you.

A knowledgeable team, a thoughtful experience.
From the initial consultation regarding my elderly father's care to the completion of his estate proceedings, I appreciated the thorough knowledge Mr. Bryant had of the subject matter, and the professionalism, patience and consideration of Jennifer, Stacy and Carla in helping me navigate a difficult period. There is so much that a person should know regarding the cost of care and legal procedures associated with a loved one in failing health that most of us are simply unaware of. I highly recommend Mr. Bryant and his staff, if you're facing this situation. And I mean that truly!

Absolutely Excellent
I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Bryant and his firm. I had recently taken over handling my parents' finances and many of their other day to day responsibilities. My parents are not really elderly by age, but one is physically disabled and the other is losing her mental capacity. The medical and legal issues that we began facing seemed daunting. We really needed the advice of a competent lawyer in this field to help us navigate these very complex issues. Mr. Bryant met with me and my parents and put us at ease from the start. His warm and caring demeanor was clearly apparent from the outset. He was able to alleviate all of the current concerns we had, and he set us up for success going forward with all that we will be facing that we never even thought of. Mr. Bryant did this all while showing the utmost respect, understanding, and patience for my parents that allowed them to maintain their dignity under circumstances that are very personal and difficult for anyone. Mr. Bryant truly went out of his way to make sure we were completely satisfied with his services and there was nothing left open. It truly meant the world to me and my parents and definitely spoke to Mr. Bryant's character and professionalism. Thanks again Kellen! To anyone out there needing help with your family/elderly estate planning and looking for the right lawyer, I can say with absolute confidence that Kellen Bryant and his firm are the right choice.
