Greetings, I am a Retired Physician with 21 years of experience in Family and General Internal Medicine and an Attorney admitted to the NY and MA Bar as well as the Eastern and Northern Federal Districts of NY.  I am a Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine. Fellowship in the College is limited to physicians who are also JD's and have an active license in at least 1 of the areas. Prior to Medical School I worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Cardiopulmonary Technologist.  

I provide an intensive medical review and timeline of the case along with an evaluation of each case's strengths, weaknesses and legal theories and provide you with ways to handle the medical facts. 

When I get a case to evaluate I begin by speaking with the Partner handling the case. After speaking with a Partner I conduct an intensive review and evaluation of all medical records and perform a due diligence review of current standard of care for the venue. I also provide the partner with a complete explanation of medical language and technology. After the review I provide a very thorough evaluation of the case along with recommendations and legal opinion relating to what the strengths and weakness of the case, what type of experts may be necessary, and any other areas of assistance the Firm requires. I am always available by e-mail or phone to answer any questions. 

I also work with an attorney who only practices in front of the Veterans Administration. I provide an expert opinion of the Veteran's disabilities as well as working with the Partner to evaluate theories of the case. I am always available by phone to discuss any areas of medicolegal concern as well as any technical medicolegal concerns.

As both an Attorney and a Physician I have a unique insight into the case and an understanding of its nuance’s that may not be precieved, understood or not discovered by a mid-level provider such as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or non-attorney. 

My fees are fair and reasonable. I have seen case reviews done by Legal Nurse services and their reports may include a large amount of very nonspecific boiler plate language which is not useful to your case because it is too vague and general. In my case reviews the entire evaluation is generated de novo by myself and not from boiler plate clauses or nonspecific language.
