The Most Unprofessional Firm

Called firm in early January took almost a month to get an appointment not because they are so busy but Mr. Goldsmith had to review my documents and decide if it was worth meeting me. Finally got appointment and was told I had to pay $450 I reminded them I was told this would be on contingency, then... they said I had to pay $175. Met with Mr. Goldsmith a month ago and he would only start the conversation after I had given him a check. This was a basic employer discrimination and defamation issue. It has been almost a month and I still have not heard if they are taking my case or not. In the meantime I keep trying to get some answers from his office, but what is most interesting is that he does not have anyone in the office on a full time basis, they don;t respond to voicemails or emails and when I finally did hear from someone two weeks ago they said that Mr. Goldsmith was still working on theories, what a load of crap. This case was already outlined in detail prior to my going to this firm. Not having anyone return your calls or emails 99% of the time is not acceptable, not having anyone actually in the office (it is a shared office space) also unacceptable. They take your money and run

Leizer: A Man of Integrity

Many many thanks to Leizer, Adam, and Kyle for diligently fighting that eight-year battle to restore my wife's dignity and honor. My wife was fired unjustly after complaining about sexual harassment and then complaining about being retaliated against. Our lives were changed forever when the universit...y terminated her for undocumented, frivolous and unjustified retaliatory reasons. The impact on our lives and finances was devastating. The humiliation of being terminated deeply wounded my wife’s morale, crushed her spirts and weakened her hopes of reemployment. Later, my wife was hired as a deputy sheriff at another agency one year after her successful and upward bound career was cruelly robbed from her, however the new journey to work was now over one hundred forty miles daily. As we struggled to make sense of why this was happening to us, the experienced and dedicated Goldsmith law firm mounted a decisive and strategic battle against an agency with upper level managers and director’s hell-bent on telling anything but the truth. The Goldsmith law firm fought our cause for eight years on an odyssey that would take the case through the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Leizer kept us informed about important events and proceedings the entire eight years. When we finally got our day in court, my wife and I did not know if the jury would be seduced by the web of lies and deception created by the university administrators. It turns out that the only people the university administrators were seducing was themselves. The lies and nonsensible deceptions spun by the three university administrators was methodically dissected and exposed as they were repeatedly impeached by Leizer and the Goldsmith law firm. During closing arguments, the university’s Attorney General told the jury that if they thought that the university’s three administrators had been lying during the weeklong trial, to reward my wife with a robust compensation. On Monday February 22, 2016, after two hours of deliberation, the jury granted the university attorney’s sarcastic wish. The jury returned a verdict in favor of my wife helping the Goldsmith law firm to restore my wife’s honor and respect as well as returning that eight-year badge of humiliation and shame to its rightful owners, the university’s administrators. We will be forever grateful to Leizer, Adam and Kyle for fighting for us when we were unable to fight for ourselves. We are also very thankful to Leizer’s wife Sharon and their prodigy law student daughter, Rayza for assisting during these difficult times. And now the healing begins. Forever Grateful, Efrem & Iris

Leizer Goldsmith is an excellent attorney.

Leizer Goldsmith is an excellent attorney. As a defendant, I came to Leizer after a former employer brought a suit alleging breach of fiduciary duty and tortious interference with a contract. We won the bulk of our case on summary judgment, and the balance of the case was dropped by the Plaintiff,... avoiding a trial. Leizer always succinctly stuck to the facts and the law, but didn't lose sight of the big picture. He made an extra effort to address my many questions and concerns along the way. Leizer's motions and responses to Plaintiff's counsel were consistenly well researched, well written, and effective. At depositions, Leizer was well prepared, and obviously much more so than Plaintiff's counsel. Had we not won on summary judgment and been forced to proceed with a trial, I'm sure that Leizer would have prevailed in any event.

Million Dollar Man

When I called Leizer I was crushed job wise, morale wise, and had no prospects for the future. Over the course of years he was relentless in pushing my claim forward. In a complex three week long trial, Leizer was able to cross examine the witnesses for the government in such a manner that the tru...th was obvious. Leizer had a grasp of the evidence, and of how the evidence could be related understandably to the jury. It took a jury just 35 minutes to see the truth of the case. In the end the jury awarded 1.3 million dollars in damages in my case. But much more important was that Leizer was able to re-establish me as a man of honor and integrity, who was wronged. Over the course of the years Leizer became much more than just lawyer, he became and is friend and counselor.
