I discovered an organization is using a revised version of my logo on my online portfolio site. This is unacceptable. Joseph was responsive to my needs but did not seem to be aware of fair use of images in U.S. copyright law, which would be directly related to my issue.

Thank you for taking a moment to comment on my responsiveness. Fair use is a very complicated topic, for reasons discussed in several of my articles, both in print and on the web. If you do some more research on fair use, you'll find out that it is a defense to copyright infringement; having a valid fair use defense isn't a "smoking gun." Nevertheless, invoking a fair use defense requires a fact-intensive analysis that's unique to each case. For that reason, cases involving a fair use defense are oftentimes very expensive to maintain. Do not assume that because I did not engage you in a discussion on fair use, I couldn't be aware of its existence and/or purpose.

Creative and never give up to win your case or defend you

In cases like mine where the word difficult does not come close to describe it. Mr. Bahgat's unceasing search for new ways to approach it is amazing. When I feel that I reached the cul-de-sac he finds new horizon to probe through and gets me hopeful again. I recommend him to those who have really dif...ficult cases to give him a try and they will see how his creativity will put them on the road to win-win situations. He will find a way and gets you results, even after you have told by other lawyers that your case is not winnable. His ever-looking for solutions for your case is beyond excellent. I am in the battle but I see results and once I am done I will comeback here and tell it all.
