Equipped with over 30 years of experience practicing intellectual property law, Catherine A. Cavella, Esq. is the owner and founder of IP Works Law. IP Works is an innovative intellectual property and business law firm focusing on helping entrepreneurs build and protect wealth by powering their ideas. To ensure clients maximize the value of their investments in intellectual property, IP Works provides its clients with balanced solutions focused on achieving the desired ROI, using flat fees and value based billing in most cases.
In addition to expertise in patents, trademarks and copyrights, IP Works also regularly advises and assists clients with contracts, license agreements, IP enforcement and litigation, and online confusion issues.
Catherine holds a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, as well as a Bachelor of Music in cello performance from California State University, Long Beach. Catherine is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and California.
Catherine is Vice President of Communications at the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce and is an active Provisors member. She has served as President of the Greater Philadelphia Professional Council, Co-Chair of the Women in Business committee of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce.
When she isn't helping entrepeneurs maximize their investment in their intellectual property, Catherine enjoys playing cello, knitting and hiking and spending time with her husband, grandchildren, cat and dog.
