Tom S. Cook, Esquire and the staff of Calhoon & Associates- especially his paralegal assistant: Lindsay Hahn provided careful and professional assistance to navigate the workman's compensation procedure as well as preparing the final paperwork to complete the compromise and release agreement. Interaction was prompt and courteous.
The final settlement was fair for both myself and the defendant.

Mr. Cook had taken my case for workers comp in October 2013. I was completely satisfied with the way he has handled everything from beginning to the end. I found his direction beneficial in dealing with my case plus the fact that he also acknowledged me for wanting to learn about it and allowed me to ask any questions I may have during the entire process.
Mr. Cook and his team was beyond anything I would have thought in a lawyer/firm and I'm thankful and truly grateful that everyone was patient and pleasant with me throughout my case.

Tom picked up my case when another lawyer left and I couldn't be happier that he did. It took two years for my case to be settled and it was a stressful two years but Tom kept me informed and was always able to answer any questions I had.

Thomas has worked on my Social Security Case and a very difficult Workers Compensation Case. I have had the pleasure of him representing me for at least seven to eight years. He always kept me informed on any changes or what to expect on both cases. I trusted him with all my information and it was very relaxing to know that he was knowledgeable of all that needed to be. He also respond at anytime I have called him, and he kept me informed me at anytime. I really would advise clients to choose him to get the job done. He has the ambulation to take on a challenge and to concord it. I would do it all over again if I had to. I'm still involved with Thomas because he said once my client always my client. And until today I can count on him to do or be there for me and my difficult situations that ever arise in my life. Thank You Thomas for all your service.

if you need a well informed, qualified attorney Mr. Tom Cook is the attorney for you! I became a client of Mr. Cook's due to a work related injury. This man has always returned my calls even when he was out of the office, on weekends, if he didn't know an answer he got me the info very fast and accurately. He always treated me like I was the one in charge, every decision was my choice. He gave me excellent advice and was always kind and encouraging when I would get upset about the whole situation. I have been so lucky to Mr. Cook as my attorney and highly recommend him to anyone in need of an attorney.

I had the pleasure of being represented by Calhoon and Assoc., specifically Thomas Cook. A few years back I realized I would need an attorney to help me through the complicated Workers Comp. and disability system. Since I never had the need for an attorney, I was at a lose on how to go about hiring representation. I googled the best attorneys in Pennsylvania. From this list I read the reviews and pulled Calhoon and Assoc. out of the hat. I could not have made a better choose. Tom stood by me, always available to answer questions and offering advice that didn't always make sense to me. I am so glad I followed his instructions. Tom's experience was invaluable. I have finally settled my case with a much better outcome than I had hoped for.

I had a difficult workmans comp case. We did not have concrete proof that my acquired illness was a direct cause from my work injury three months prior. The specialists who treated the illness would not back my case because they had not treated the initial injury. Mr Cook told me right from the start this would be difficult to win. Mr. Cook and Lindsay Hahn (Paralegal) were at all times professional, friendly, personable, and patient. They kept me informed of what was going on with the case. They explained and reexplained when I didn't understand the legal terminology or things that were happening with the case. Lindsay was extremely thorough and if I emailed her 10 times in one day she would answer each email within a timely fashion. Mr. Cook ALWAYS left the decisions up to me without trying to sway my decision. I was able to make informed decisions because he explained the possible outcomes and the pros and cons of each decision. The rest of the staff at the office were always friendly And courteous when I had to call the office number.
So with much heartfelt gratitude...They WON my case!!! My $50,000 worth of medical bills will now be paid and I received a check for the time out of work. Mr. Cook did not gain financially on my case. Yet was sincerely happy for me and told me he felt happy and had the satisfaction of winning such a challenging case. So that shows me that Mr. Cook is genuine and decent person who loves his work. I most definitely recommend Mr. Cook and if you can hook Lindsay Hahn then you've got an excellent chance to win your case with these two on your side!

My worker’s compensation case wasn’t going anywhere until I contacted Calhoon & Associates. Mr. Cook was assigned to handle my case. Mr. Cook is professional, caring and communicates very well. Mr. Cook always replied promptly weather is was by email of phone. After switching law firms, my case immediately starting moving forward and making progress. Mr. Cook even dropped off the first checks at my house which was at least a 3 hours round trip drive because he knew I needed the money.
I recommend, without any hesitation Mr. Cook and Calhoon & Associates.
