Before entering elderly law. Steven was instrumental in supporting and guiding me in my discrimination suite against my employer. In this department there are two types of operators. A and B. A operators were responsible for putting up the machines. They were responsible for fixing or making changes. They were also required to climb the high towers that fed the lines with the product. B operators were responsible for production, product inspection and wrapping. And they remained on the floor. After several years in their service. They decided that I could no longer perform my duties as required. Even though my responsibilities of a B operator did not include me climbing the towers. They also refused to make accommodations for me. They then decided to move me to another department and force me to take a pay cut. I knew what they were doing was illegal and against the Lilly act and advised them so. They proceeded to tell me they were in their legal rights and there was nothing I could do about it. I started looking for an attorney to help with my problem. One lawyer even told me "I should be thankful I even have a job!" Feeling defeated and about to give up hope.
