Finally an attorney who really cares

Scott came to me via a recommendation from a person that I didn't know very well ( a bank officer). I had recently become a guardian for a close family member, and we were having issues setting up her banking due to a previuos emergency guardianship that had done some illegal actions prior. Within on...e phone call, Scott had that issue settled. We then met in person with him so he could speak with my family member. Originally, we were hopeful he could help us get her back to a living situation her prior the guardianship, and I could just become a power of attorney. He showed real compassion for my family member, gave amazing advice for her future. Unfortunately we discovered her mental health situation was far more progressed than we had originally hoped. Scott then told me that I needed to become more involved with her finances and living situations. Never having any experience with a dementia patient, Scott's wisdom became extremely helpful in how to move forward. I can honestly say that if you are in need an elder law attorney, the money will be well spent. 3 words immediately come to mind for Scott Collins: Compassionate, Wise, and knowledgeable.

The best choice for elder law

Scott Collins is great to work with. He understands your concerns pertaining to elder law issues and is focused on helping families make the best decisions for their loved one's. He makes you feel at ease and becomes your attorney and your friend. His assistant is friendly and a joy to work with. I ...highly recommend Scott Collins Law Office.

A friend not just a lawyer

Mr. Collins made me feel comfortable and made me feel like he understood my hell. He listens, he respects, and he shares. He makes you feel like you've known him a long time. A friend, not a shark. When you are going through a lot and feel like you've lost everything Mr Collins gives you hope.

Medicare

Helped family work a case with Medicare to get father in a nursing home. Was told Medicare would pay 100% of the cost and we ended up having to pay out of packet costs, but we wouldn't have been able to get him in unless we had him as a lawyer. He has been gracious about us paying back his fees.
