Tkacik brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to your legal issues.  Mr. Tkacik practiced real estate law at a boutique Pittsburgh real estate firm for over seven years before opening his own practice in 2017.  Attorney Tkacik has taught courses to attorneys on landlord tenant and title law in Pennsylvania.  Prior to that he had clerked for a Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice.  In addition to being an attorney, Mr. Tkacik is also a licensed Pennsylvania real estate broker and title agent.  Mr. Tkacik obtained a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2008, where he was awarded the Murray S. Love award for trial advocacy.

Very Pleased
I’m glad I hired David to represent me in a tax assessment appeal after I purchased a new home. He responded to all my emails promptly, gave helpful advice in an efficient way, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Best of all, the ruling in my case was actually lower than the previous owner’s assessment. More than I expected.

Great Experiences
David has represented me twice for real estate law needs. The first was after a divorce and a deed change was needed to remove my ex wife. The second time was for a utility easement for a new construction home build. I needed this done quickly so I did not delay the building permit process and he was able to deliver this in an extremely tight deadline. I would highly recommend using him.

Helped get me out of a jointly owned property
I hired David to help me get out of a property I purchased with a family member who was being extremely difficult and trying to take advantage of me. David was an excellent advocate, fought hard, and saw right through the dirty moves from the other owner and shut it down. He got me my fair share of the property. I am impressed with David’s work ethic and professionalism, and I am immensely happy that I hired him!

A efficient real estate attorney

I have hired Mr.David Tkacik recently in the context of selling my house in Pittsburgh PA. He picked up my case right away and he has been nothing but helpful. Professional friendly service
We used David to appeal our Allegheny Co. real estate property assessment. David was prompt to respond to questions by phone, email or text. Before our hearing, David explained to us what his approach would be during the hearing and addressed concerns we had about how the county had assessed our property. David’s fee was a flat rate quoted up front and was more than reasonable. In the end David had our assessment reduced by 14%.
