About Philip
Biography
Phil obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Studies from Messiah College in 2008. Before enrolling at Duquesne University School of Law in 2011, he worked in Altoona, Pennsylvania, as a grant writer. His role was pivotal in the revitalization of a community center housed in an abandoned church building, achieving significant neighborhood improvements through successful grant applications. These efforts resulted in rebuilt sidewalks and the creation of community parks and programs. At Duquesne, Phil gained significant real estate experience through the Urban Redevelopment Practicum and an internship with Rice Energy. These opportunities allowed him to advance his legal knowledge and skills in real estate, eventually leading to a career in the energy industry. However, after moving his family to the North Hills, Phil chose to refocus his legal practice on supporting his local community, bringing his legal acumen and dedication back home.
