Susan Marie Betzjitomir

Before Susan, I had a public defender who did not care to help me at all. I looked like a complete idiot. My children were taken away from me and it should not have even happened. She took on my complex case that goes back years to help me; and told me I wasn’t getting what I deserved. My life chan...ged that day I met her. I was not being seen or heard and was rapidly losing more and more hope. We started trial the following week. I am and will be forever grateful and thankful I met her. I didn’t stand a chance without her. She is worth every penny. I don’t even know what the outcome will be as I’m writing this review and I still would pay the entire fee over again. Thank you so much Susan.

This is the first review I have ever written. After reading some of the bad reviews I felt like I had to. With the representation my wife and I received from Susan and her staff I would have paid her 5 times what she charged. We have not one complaint and recommend her to anyone that ask about repres...entation. She kept our grand kids safe through out the whole process. She was our 5th lawyer over the years and by far, not even close, the best!! I would never go with any other lawyer after my experience with her and I think God everyday that we walked into her office. Thanks again Susan!!!!

I hired Susan who said ohh we have a great case blah blah we will fight it all the way. Went to the first hearing, " I think we should settle, we do not have as big of a smoking gun as we had thought." Well Susan was the one that said we did! So we settle and Susan has less than an hour in time inv...ested but the entire Retainer is hers?! which means she was worth $750.00 an hour? no way!!! Unethical and Dishonest!! Stay away!!

I met Susan in court when she was not my attorney. After watching me take a beating, she offered her professional opinion on my case. (she saw me in court 2 times prior) Thank god I retained her services. Her honesty and understanding of my legal rights was priceless and saved me time and money. ...I highly recommend her services. She is fair and always had my back and when I needed guidance, she was spot on as to what her thought was but ultimately she left it up to me. That is all one can ask for is a lawyer to be by their side and a voice of reason because the process is long and stressful. I will always use her legal services going forward.

The purpose of me writing this review is to save other people the unfortunate behavior that I received from this lawyer & her staff. I terminated services & submitted a grievance to the Grievance Committee regarding Susan Betzjitomer’s unethical behavior regarding my case, due to their lack of respo...nse. She did not uphold the Code of Professional Responsibility as an attorney. She & her staff (Karen & Pam) would not always explain nor show proof of services rendered, when I had an inquiry. Ms. Betzjitomer is unprofessional, unpleasant, not detail oriented, does not follow up, tardy in completing work, rude, sarcastic, treats you disrespectfully & had no concern for my case. Thirty days went by before I finally received a response regarding a document that was supposed to have been completed weeks ago. This is just one example of why my case was delayed. They were negligent in not including important information in some of my legal documents, especially, when we had literally just discussed them. They did not take the least expensive path, though indicated in their retainer. The paralegal should have done all the documentation, not the lawyer, who charges a higher rate. When I inquired, I received no response. When I first became her client, everything was fine. Toward the middle & end, she & her staff became unresponsive. They did not return my phone calls. When they did respond, they would not fully answer my questions, therefore, having to ask over & over which they charged me for. I felt they had no concern for my case, therefore, not putting any effort into it. I have more examples of Ms. Betzjitomer & her staff’s incompetence & hope this is enough to inform people not to use her services.
