Unbelievable Disposition

As with most everyone here who has written a testimonial I, too, was stopped on the NY Thruway traveling 85 in a 65 with a 4 point ticket attached. The Trooper was equipped with two radar antennas and detected my speed while approaching his patrol vehicle from behind. Boy what a shock as I had no ide...a this was possible....but ignorance of the law is no excuse. I was quite worried what this would do to my driving record and my insurance premiums, not to mention my travel time from Baltimore, MD to upstate NY. During my google search, I came across Benjamin Goldman's website and took a look. The testimonials were very impressive so thought "what did I have to lose." I reached out, via email, and received a quick response. I was provided with all the logistics and was advised that it would take several months for the matter to conclude, would not need to appear in the Newburgh Town Court for trial, and that everything would be done, via email. WOW....OK, I'm liking this! I completed the required paperwork and provided Mr. Goldman's office with a copy of my clean driving record and that was it. It was six months before I thought about it again at which time I must have conjured up the outcome. A few days later, I received the following email: "We resolved your ticket...the four point speeding ticket was reduced to a parking ticket - VTL 1202b2 - "Parked Near a Fire Hydrant". Obviously this does not have any points, will not go on your record, and will not affect your insurance premiums." Wait WHAT??? OMGosh...."is this for real" was my first thought. I was elated!!! Looking back at all the testimonials, I realized I made the absolute best decision hiring Benjamin Goldman. Professional, competent and delivers outstanding results. "Thanks" just doesn't seem good enough. You ROCK Mr. Goldman and, although I hope not to need your services in the future, I will gladly offer them to others and will certainly keep your number handy. Thank you so much for an unbelievable disposition. All the best to you.

Traffic is his game

Two summers ago I got a speeding ticket upstate on my way from NYC to Rochester. I was going fast. Very fast. Not much less than 100 mph. Ben replied for a consult within ten minutes. He had a pretty good idea of where I got pulled over before I told him. He gave me some recommendations of things I c...ould do while my case was pending. Several months later his office contacted me to let me know that my ticket had been reduced to a fine for littering on the highway. I was in absolute shock - happy shock. Ben is very good at what he does.

Responsive traffic ticket expertise graciously provided!

I was issued a speeding ticket in NY state but live in CT and needed help understanding the pros/cons of my options related to pleading guilty and/or hiring a lawyer to represent me. So I reached out to the Avvo community. Mr. Goldman responded quickly and also allowed me a free phone consultation, w...here he gave me sound advice and told me that I really didn't need to hire a lawyer to represent me as it would be more cost-effective to just plead guilty given my out-of-state status.
