Gary Stuart Miller

My son received a speeding ticket. I did a lot of research, and basically it was the kind of ticket .. on radar, 84 in a 55, that would be incontrovertible. Gary and I spoke and he said the same thing. He said if you want to hire me, I will do my best but these tickets are virtually impossible. M...y son is young and I decided to give it a shot and hire Gary. I received a voice mail and an email telling me my son was found NOT GUILTY! I could NOT believe it. I spoke with Gary and he explained that he brought the case to trial immediately over a comment the ticketing deputy made. How he picked up on such a small thing amazed me! Gary helped me with two speeding tickets. He is very easy to deal with and he makes himself VERY available. He informs you of exactly what is happening. He was very effective in reducing my penalities and he saved my license from suspension on one occasion. He sends you a conclusion letter. He advise...s you concerning payment of fines, if any, so that it is sure to be recorded. I once dealt with a firm handling tickets and working with Gary is 100 times better. He is a nice guy, who is concerned about your difficulty as well as being a professional and effective lawyer. Try him, you won't be sorry!!!!

I was very impressed with Mr. Miller, and highly recommend him as a talented, compassionate, and attentive lawyer. It is with great honor and privilege that I write this review of Gary S. Miller. In February of 2008, I appeared before a judge in Central Islip was shocked to learn that I was facing 180+ days in jail, loss of my drivers license for a year, and $3,200 in potential fines for a number of tickets ac...cumulated over the years (3 were misdemeanors). It was really, really bad (the prosecutor wanted to “set the example” with me) and the first lawyers I spoke with all said something similar to “Owwwww…..” when asked about the chances for a favorable outcome and not going to jail. It was terrifying and painful and just completely hopeless — truly one of the darkest periods of my life. I call Gary at 7 pm on a Friday night and he CALLS BACK at 11 pm. While Gary does acknowledge that my actions were less than intelligent, he also says there’s chance that things might not turn out so apocalyptic. The conversation should have ended right there but, Gary was kind enough to speak with me for another hour. Actually, he listened as I ratted off every fear of what could happen. That’s probably one of the best things about Gary: he listened to everything I said. He went beyond the call of job protocol in the first conversation. My trial stretched out for almost a year. Had to go to the courthouse every month to stand in front of the judge (who clearly did not like me). Gary was the only bright spot. He was always so professional and he was ALWAYS available to answer my million questions (not to mention nervous breakdowns). Each time Gary walked in the court room, just about every lawyer came right up to him and shook his hand. Even the prosecutor who hated my guts shook his hand. Gary is highly respected in the arena where he has to fight for your life (that’s definitely a good thing!). At 10:43 am (a year ago to this day), my case was decided. Seven of the tickets that could have literally destroyed my business and my life were wiped off my record — obliterated. There would be no jail time. I would be able to drive again. The torrid, anguishing nightmare was finally over. At 11:01 am, I walked out Central Islip Court House feeling like a human being again and owe it all to Gary S. Miller. Gary explained from day one that there was no guarantee on the outcome. However, no one could have predicted how favorable my case would have come out. It’s because of Gary that I have a second chance at life. In addition to being a phenomenal Lawyer, Gary is also a phenomenal person — he lives or dies for his clients and that’s EXACTLY the kind of person you want in your corner. Hire Gary. Period.
