Excellent Attorney, Trustworthy and Experienced

I’ve worked as a client with Brittni Sullivan for the past 10 years. We hired Burner Law, where Brittni is a top Elder Law attorney, in 2015 to set up my injured 92 year old mother on Community Medicaid in her home in New York. In conjunction with that she managed the set-up of my mom’s house as a...n Irrevocable Trust. Brittni was our anttorney throughout the process and accomplished both those tasks with expertise. The combined processes moved ahead very quickly and smoothly. Over the years it has been a relief to have her in charge of the confusing morass of documents and information that needed explaining regarding my mom’s Medicaid case. She was always immediately available for changes that were required and all issues that required attention. At my mom’s passing in late 2025 Brittni was also immediately available with information for me on how to proceed with Mom’s estate when I requested it.. Brittni is a warm, sympathetic, down to earth person, a very professional attorney, and a knowledgeable and available communicator. As a retired college advisor myself, I cannot say enough about how trustworthy an ally she has been to my family.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
