Maria Lianos Johnson

Maria Johnson is an associate at Burner Law Group, P.C. Maria joined the firm in June of 2016 and works in the firms Estate and Trust Division concentrating on all phases of Probate and Estate administration as well as estate litigation matters. Maria’s practice includes all Surrogate’s Court proceedings to appoint an Executor or Administrator of an estate, fiduciary accountings, and preparation of New York State and Federal estate tax returns.

Maria earned her undergraduate degree from St. John’s University. She worked as an Estate and Trust paralegal for ten years before attending law school. In 2010, Maria earned her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law.

 Maria is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association and the Surrogates Court Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Maria lives in Oceanside with her husband and two children.
