Elaine Siegmund

Elaine Siegmund is an associate at Burner Law Group, P.C. She joined the firm in January 2015 as legal intern while she was still in law school. Elaine was admitted to practice in October 2017.

Elaine earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from University at Albany, State University of New York in 2012 where she graduated magna cum laude. She was a member of the international pre-law fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta. Additionally, Elaine was elected a Senator for University at Albany’s Student Government Association.

She then received her Juris Doctor from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2016. While attending law school she was the recipient of a Merit Scholarship for her undergraduate academic record and performance on the LSAT, as well as, an Academic Achievement Scholarship determined by class rank in her law school class. Additionally, she received the Clinical Legal Education Award for her work and dedication to Touro’s Elder Law Clinic where under attorney supervision she provided advice and representation to senior clients. At graduation, she was recognized for her contributions to the quality of student life. Elaine was a member of the Elder Law Trusts & Estate Association and served as the Public Relations Representative as well as the Treasurer of Touro Law’s Women’s Bar Association.

Elaine is a member of the New York State Bar Association Elder Law and Special Needs Section as well as the Trusts and Estates Law Section. She is licensed to practice in New York State.
