I am the proud founder of a feminist litigation firm dedicated to fighting gender and pregnancy discrimination in the workplace. I also represent victims in cases involving sexual assault, gender-based violence, and discrimination and abuse in health care settings.
I've been a trial attorney representing individuals against corporations since I graduated in 2006 from NYU Law.
I also co-founded Survivors Law Project alongside my best friend Carrie Goldberg, who is a trailblazing victims' rights attorney. Together, our law firms represent victims of sexual abuse in lawsuits against not ony individual offenders but also the institutions that protect and enable them.
I'm also a mom of two, an alto in the Cecilia Chorus of New York, and a black belt in kung fu. Of all my achivements, I'm most proud of my job as the tooth fairy!

Thoughtful and caring Lawyer
During the summer of 2020 I was fired only a few weeks after having given birth, which was a very traumatic experience for myself and my family. When I needed help
My case involved an issue that was filed with the EEOC. Without Susan's help and guidance I would never gotten the positive outcome I did. I would hire her again if I ever needed the service of a great lawyer.

Excellent communicator, formidable advocate.
I have been a lawyer in Michigan for 43 years, and was in need of a NY City attorney to handle a case against me and my daughter relating to a guarantee of lease I signed 10 years prior. I had no contacts in the city and tenant law is not my area of expertise. Through Avvo, I found Susan Crumiller...

"I endorse this lawyer. She is known for her tenacity and commitment to her firm's values. I have referred matters that are outside of my practice areas to her."
"I have known Susan for two years now, introduced to her by a mutual colleague who also went to NYU Law with her. I know her to be extremely dedicated to her clients, her practice, and solidifying her reputation as one of the best landlord/tenant and employment litigators in the city. She is substantively sound on legal issues, courtroom procedure, and litigation strategy. Indeed, she proved quite helpful in providing advice to me in a lawsuit I filed against my own landlord that ended up settling for a very significant amount. I would recommend Susan to any client in a heartbeat. She’s simply that good."
"Susan is a dedicated and caring professional. She has tremendous passion for representing women in pregnancy discrimination cases and that passion shines through in each interaction with her."

"Susan is smart, professional and knows the law. In addition to her top-notch skills and results-driven practice, Susan is a master client relationship manager. One of the most important things to me when referring clients or attorneys to a colleague is knowing their case will be handled properly and with active communication throughout. I recommend Susan to friends, colleagues and clients for her work with employment rights and tenant/housing issues."
