The absolutely best!

Tom is an outstanding attorney and the absolute best. He is the most professional, courteous and patient attorney I have ever dealt with. He is honest, trustworthy and straight to the point, sharp and extremely knowledgeable. Tom's professionalism and attention to detail made all the difference... for me. He truly had my best interest at heart, he was so generous with his time. He helped me with important and helpful resources and he steered me towards an attorney who specializes in the matter. Thank so much Tom!

Mr. & Ms.

Tom was recommended by a friend to prepare all our estate directives, after having prognosticated for many years! First, we had an excellent no-cost consultation and he answered all our questions. One of the most important aspects for us was for our Boston Terrier fur baby - Heartly - to be gener...ously included in our wills, particularly since he has very expensive health issues that must be addressed if neither of us are there. It took us several months to finally decide to go ahead with his services. Through many discussions, including a couple of ZOOM, we finally signed all paperwork at his office. Since Tom is a dog lover, too, we made arrangement to sign final paperwork at a table outside his office building, with Heartly looking on!

Superb, professional service

After much contemplation, my spouse and I decided it was time to rethink our wills. Tom walked us through the process, helped us crystallize our wishes and intentions into specific terms, and provided us with all the documents (will, health care proxy, living will and power of attorney) we may need g...oing forward.

"Tom is the first person I think of when asked for referrals for wills, trusts and estates - he is a wealth of information with an exceptional expertise. He readily and thoroughly helps other attorneys who are grappling with these complex matters - on an individual basis and as a trainer. Tom graciously volunteered his time to participate in a training for attorneys at Legal Services NYC; he helped shape the program, edited our template wills, added valuable content to the training materials, and provided clear and thoughtful guidance as a trainer. Tom is thorough, patient, kind, and driven to deliver first-class services and work product. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have Tom as a mentor and friend."

"First an foremost, let me say that Thomas is a "people person," which is what ultimately makes him an excellent litigator. He brings the perfect combination of substantive know-how on the law with the actual ability to try a case. That's rare among trusts and estates lawyers and it's what distinguishes him from the bunch. I wholeheartedly trust and endorse Thomas and will always send any client or friend in need of his expertise his way."

"This is a letter of recommendation for Thomas Sciacca. I first spoke with Mr. Sciacca on a Surrogate's Court matter we were both working. He always acted professionally, courteously, and intelligently. His written arguments were wise, concise, and useful. An attorney can quickly discern brilliance by reading what he/she has written, and I could opine, without a doubt, that Mr. Sciacca's abilities far exceed that of most. His knowledge puts him in the top echelon of attorneys. Whenever I speak with Mr. Sciacca, I always gain just a little more respect for him. I highly recommend Thomas Sciacca as a lawyer, person, and professional. Please feel free to call my office should you require any further information."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
