Phillip is an excellent lawyer who was readily available to me as his client. He was able to address all my questions in a timely manner even when he was busy. He treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism from the start. He is prompt, efficient and courteous. He explained the legal p...rocess in simplistic ways to provide transparency and made sure that we had mutual understandings. He wanted the best outcome for my case and even held meetings and answered phone calls while he was away on vacation. I was facing a federal indictment in Little Rock, AR and looking at over 30 years. The court appointed me an attorney. This attorney was disconnected. I barely ever heard from him and he wouldn’t even talk to my family. After a year of being detained I was recommended to reach out to Hamilton and Cl...ark. They came all the way from New York to visit me in Greene County where I was detained. After that they went to go met with my family. We decided to hire them. They kept me informed every step of the way. Remained in constant contact with my family and even agreed to meet with community members. They got the prosecutor to agree to a lesser charge that wasn’t additionally in my indictment. I was now only facing about 2 years and it allowed for my judge to go below the sentencing guidelines. I was prepped very well. They even got me transferred to a better facility while I was awaiting sentencing. Prior to my sentencing date they made sure a sentencing memo and character letters were sent to my judge. The day of sentencing they fought for me like they had known me all their life. In the end the judge went below my guidelines. And I was released with time served after 18 months and 18 months probation. They even came and celebrated with my family and community after before they left out. I have honestly never seen anything like it. They didn’t treat me like a number or just another case. They were genuinely interested in getting to know me. They have even offered to help me apply for early release in December which will be a year after my release. I feel like if I would have hired them from the beginning I never would have been detained for so long but because of them I came home. I’m free and able to watch my daughter grow up. I can never thank them enough.

My son who attends a college two hours away from NYC was arrested for having a fake identification. I can’t get too upset about my son trying to get into bars before he was 21...I think a lot of adults may have done the same thing. However, for some reason my generation was better at not getting ca...ught. Nevertheless, my son was arrested and he called me at 3 am letting me know he was charged on a felony count. Moreover, as a parent, I couldn’t afford to travel to NY and attend court with my son. Phil promised me that he would represent my son well and he did. In fact, Phil also demanded that my son take ownership of the process which was kinda hard for me because mothers sometimes want to do everything for their kids and they miss opportunities for their kids to learn how to navigate threw grown up moments. Phil demanded my sons participation and my son rose to the occasion. So if you need an attorney who is smart, experienced, caring, attentive, and kick ass, Phil is your man. Not only did he work with the District Attorney to work out an appropriate outcome prior to the court date, twice he drove two hours to attend night court with my son in the dead of the winter. How many attorneys would take a little felony case like mines and treat it like a major case? Phil did and I hope and pray you consider him for your case. Phil was such a relief of stress and when it was all said and done, he handle everything according to his initial plan. I can’t say enough about this wonderful and caring man. Phil is one of a kind.
