Biography
I own a boutique style law firm, Law Firm of Maaria Mahmood, PLLC focused exclusively on immigration law. The firm's mission is to provide quality and individualized care to each client. I have over 5 years of immigration law experience. I represent clients in removal defense (immigration court), asylum and family immigration. I was previously an Associate at Zwaik, Gilbert & Associate's managing the firm's Brooklyn Office and co-managing the firm's litigation unit. Prior to that I worked at private firms and interned for several immigration clinics and non-profits.
I graduated from Rutgers University, magna cum laude. I went on to receive my law degree from Brooklyn Law School. I was born first generation to immigrant parents from Pakistan. I am fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.

patient and resourceful
