also known as Roberto Martinez
Robert Martinez is a proud American of Puerto Rican descent who earned his Bachelors degree from Hofstra University, where he was an enthusiastic member of Hofstra's Organization of Latin Americans. He then worked for the Central Islip School District and Child Protective Services of Suffolk County. In the evenings, he also taught English as a Second Language for the adult immigrant community. Ultimately, he chose to pursue a career in law, and earned his Juris Doctorate at Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.
While at Touro, Mr. Martinez served as as President of the Latin American Law Student Organization, and was twice granted a fellowship; first for the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund, then again for the New York City Civil Enforcement Unit of the New York City Police Department.
For over twenty years, Mr. Martinez has been a zealous advocate for immigrant rights, education, and encouraging their greater political influence and unification of the immigrant community. Whenever possible, he volunteers his time with educational seminars for churches, libraries and community organizations throughout the New York Metro region and Long Island.

"I have known Robert for years. He is one of the most passionate and zealous advocates in this field. I have yet to see an attorney who matches the level of effort he puts into each case. Every client of his is in great hands. Robert is a highly knowledgeable, ethical, and intelligent attorney and I would recommend my closest family member to him. I give Robert the highest endorsement."
